Canadian receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Nice to have volleyball and table tennis

Some staff were a bit grumpy. Echoey corridors. Charging plugs too far from beds.

Breakfast was excellent and a good way to experience local food. Same thing with supper and good value for $. It is recommended and worth experiencing.

We took the DB train, and the Hostel was under a 5 minute walk from the train. The staff are so professional and kind. The decor is bright and welcoming. We walked (sunny, warm day) to the island- about a beautiful 15-20 minute walk. If you don't bring towels , you can rent for 1-2 Euro each. Rooms were bright, clean, great. On check out day we went to the mall right next door. Even though "everyone' goes to the island, the mainland is quite lovely. We were able to walk around the mainland, and grab our bags and get our train. Great. Breakfast was simple and easy.

The building was pretty, with many toys in the garden and a playground. The staff was so hospitable and the breakfast area and breakfast were impressive. They also had a fountain with free mineral water and sparkling water. We felt so welcome!

Beautiful hostel, full of services; very clean and close to city center.

Lovely lady at the reception. Breakfast was good. It's a place where lots of families hang out with kids, I'm sure any children will have a lovely time,lots of activities to do

Nice to have our own sink. Wooden furniture felt homey, beds were comfortable, blankets warm. Had nice amenities, such as games, ping pong, kids play room. Nice cafeteria. Great breakfast included. Well run and organized.

Some young (older teens, younger college age?) hostelers were very noisy coming in. They were respectful when confronted by others. Would have liked a place to leave unused items (coffee, jams, unopened fruit, etc) for other hostelers. Suspect room was not swept under beds by previous guests, but only a little bit of dust under there.

Good location.

It was supposed to be silent between 10PM and 7AM and no alcohol in the rooms, but it was still very laud at midnight with drinking parties in the rooms. The stuff did not have any information about the parking in Lindau and the hostel parking was full. The doors in the hostel are all very laud.

Beautiful building, lots of attractive communal space to use and relax in. The room was basic as you'd expect with a youth hostel, but very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic and I can highly recommend paying for the evening meal too. Loads of choice, lots of fresh and healthy food, good choice for vegetarians. Really good value.Great location for train station ( we were backpacking) - handy for local supermarket to buy picnic food - only a 15 min walk onto beautiful Lindau Island.

Hotel parking a bit small and you have to pay for street parking between 08-20.

Spacious (lots of parking, grass area, nice common rooms), family friendly (even a kids room with fun toys for toddlers to maybe 8 or 9 years old), friendly staff happy to help with any questions or needs!

Desk hours were a bit strange, so upon arriving we had to snoop around to find a staff member for check in, but they graciously welcomed us. THERE ARE NO TOWELS IN THE ROOM! Ask for one at check in... there's a charge.

Staff was very helpful. They were able to speak great English. The breakfast option was large. Great location in proximity to food and train.

No air conditioning. It was hot and stuffy in the room. Towels were not included within the room.

The staff are very helpful and nice. Clean. The breakfast was very good. There is also a drinking water point which provide both still and sparkling water!!! Excellent!

It would be nicer if there is a socket at each bed.
