How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Verified reviewPlenty of EV charging points in the neighborhood
Well, prepare for a good chance to be disturbed from your arrival until late in the evening due to large groups of school youth. Loud music, banging doors and lots of shouting and screaming. As a bonus, at 9:15 PM the fire alarm went off, probably caused by the behaviour of one of the youngsters - we never got an explanation or apology afterwards. The evacuation was hardly guided by personnel, but with the noise of the slow whoop no-one would stay inside anyway. The Kempten fire brigade and police were present in about 10 minutes with 6 response vehicles and many firemen. Of course, there was no real fire, but this took them another half an hour to verify. Then the slow whoop was stopped and guests went back to their rooms, although no official clearance was given as far as we could notice.

Verified reviewThe location was great - Kempten is a cute city, close to tourist destinations (Neuschwanstein), sports and relaxation (Sauna) facilities right around the corner.
Probably the stinkiest bathroom (shower!) I've ever smelled in my life. The beds were also too hard.

Verified reviewStaff was very friendly and helpful. The room we booked wasn't available, the room we got was an upgrade so no complaints there. There's an outside playground and a small indoor play room, which were OK. There's a big inside + outside lounge. The breakfast buffet was better than the evening buffet, but still all OK and we were happy we didn't have to go out and look for a restaurant anymore after a full day of driving. Large parking area. Don't expect any luxurious family hotel, but everything you need for a short stay was there.
A fridge on the room would be a nice addition.

Verified reviewThe hotel is great for families. You have lots of stuff to do around with your kids. The staff was also pretty friendly. The proximity of the swimming pool makes it even better.
There are just a few things which could be improved quite quicky (as there always is): - The table in the baby playroom has pointy corners. Putting a protection on these edge would be a good idea - The lamps to the Swimming pool did not work. The path was icy, it can be dangerous - No fridge in the bedroom. Nor a kettle somewhere available, even in a common area. If you travel with a baby, these are really great to have. - Extra blankets + Pillows in the bedroom would be great.

Verified reviewThe breakfast buffet was exceptional, even containing some vegan choices. The rooms were clean and functional with enough closet space. Free entry to the indoor water park just a few minutes' walk away.
Our bathroom had no shelves whatsoever, and not enough hooks for hanging towels and bathrobes. We booked two double rooms for a family of 4 and the rooms were in opposite wings of the hotel, that was such a nuisance! The hotel did have adjacent double rooms with connecting doors, that would have been so much easier. We had booked our stay more than half a year in advance, so they could have arranged it if they had payed enough attention. There was a short footpath to the water park, but it had no lighting and was completely dark at night.

Verified reviewQuite comfortable, free parking, very nice breakfast. One of the best things that water park (pool) is free for guests. Totally recommended.
A little bit effort for cleaning would have been nice. Also, the check in process took more than expected. Around 30 min by foot from center. Basically no wifi (very slow or not possible to log in at all).

The indoor play areas were not really interesting. Fx the downstairs one mostly had broken toys and not much of it. The playground outside was kinda boring, especially for a family hotel. On here it says you can go to the aqua Park next doors and that's why we booked this place. But after booking we received a message that the aqua Park would be closed during our stay. I asked for a refund but could not get it. I feel like this is false advertising. They dont provide a kettle in the rooms which is the first hotel I have ever tried that. So if you want Coffee you need to buy it in their reception. Morning buffet was ok but for vegans not that many options. They did have soy and oat milk (not a great one for Coffee).

I have to set some things right though. We have a cooperation with the Cambomare. Unfortunately there was a break-in into the Cambomare that is why it was closed. It is not our indoor swimming area, nor do we charge you for it. We rent free kettles on request. The coffee from the machine on the buffet can be used from 7am to 10:30/11 am. You did not have to buy one in the morning. If you give us a chance to earn back your trust, I can assure you that we will do our best to give you the great hotel experience that so many of our guests have grown so fond of. climbing and play room are for toddlers. didn’t even invest in a freaking console for the huuuge cinema room. food was horrible, hotel worn down and bad for the money but not bad as such. my kids didn’t like any of their deserts and food was odd. it’s ok, but should be 50 eur less per day minimum.
