Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThere's no AC. That could be okay, just when the night is hot if you open the window you can hear the noise of the Autobahn. For some it's ok, for some it's not.
Excellent location. Smart, super clean.

United KingdomMessages I received through the Booking.com app weren't clear on which code I had to put into the front door, so I had to stand out on the street with my phone in my hand for a while typing the two codes. (Possibly I missed something in the message.) From memory, it's the longer one.
Room was large, clean and modern. Bathroom was lovely. Warm night outside but not too hot in the room.

SerbiaFirst of all - no AC. Mind you - Frankfurt, a city of concrete and huge buildings - in the summer. Kind of crazy. I was super tired so I fell asleep right away with a soft breeze through the window. Second of all, prepare for the rant: The way of checking in (self check-in) the room is absolutely ridiculous! You get a "comfort code" and "start code" - that's what I got in the message they sent. I think they wanted to send some explanation links but never did. Those code names mean absolutely nothing. I guessed that the comfort code was the PIN for the entrance and the floor since it had a few digits long, and I was right. But I would have never guessed what start code is! It was 35 degrees and I was with my backpack and a suitcase trying to enter the room in 2AM hopelessly with sweat dripping down my face. There was a keypad on the door, so I guess I enter the "comfort code" or "start code" and one of those should work, right? No! First you enter a comfort code (4 digits) and THEN you enter a start code which has (drumrolls) 9 DIGITS. On a keypad that has 2 rows of digits! Not even a standard one that you know how to type with your eyes closed. Also - it wasn't a regular buttons keypad - it was a hard press one! And I had to call them in order to get this information. That pissed me off right off the bat, and I'm the one who rarely gets seriously mad about something like this. It's all so unnecessary. Sorry for the rant, but my god please do something about this.
The room was pretty spacious and modern looking. The location is amazing if you need the airport to be close - it's 1 metro stop away from the airport, and the metro station is just a few minutes of walking.

JapanUnsure about the garbage disposal explanation in the guest book. It states that you should bring it to a garbage room but nowhere is an explanation where this room is. Also since there is room cleaning I think small amounts of garbage could be taken care of by the cleaning crew.
Easy check in with door codes submitted per Mail.

GermanySadly, the lack of AC sadly outweighed all the good on this stay. It was impossible to sleep during a heatwave and it's an airport hotel so opening the windows is not an option.
Great location for airport, affordable, nice setup.

United StatesLack of air conditioning It’s a must these days Or fans to help with air flow. Front office staff not very helpful. I felt he was bothered by my questions. Coffee bar was a let down. When I asked the staff member for instruction it was not given. He just stopped the machine Which made the coffee process stop which left the coffee with no flavor and walked away. This did not help in the next cup as it was out of sync. Not impressed.
Very good location. Great size of room. Clean. When speaking with your telephone customer service agents all were very pleasant and very helpful.

SwitzerlandHaving to enter a 10 digit code to get in the street door, then again to get onto the landing of my floor, and then again to get into the room itself. After that the shorter 'comfort' code worked ok. My room overlooked the road, immediately above the outdoor seating of the restaurants below, as it was a warm night people were sitting out late, and could be heard even though window was closed. No air-con.
Kitchenet, close to Rewe, no need to wait at a reception.

RomaniaNo power outlet next to the bed (at least in the room I got). For an airport hotel, with the traffic it has, they should have 24/7 reception. The PIN system is nice for remote places, but figuring it out after/before a long day of travel is the last thing you need.
Perfect for a good sleep before an early flight. Nice restaurant on the ground floor that is open late.

CanadaOn arrival I had difficulty getting inside the self-check in/security code entrance. This was a bit awkward with full luggage in tow. However a kind person, very familiar with facility, understood the issue right away and she pointed me in the right direction. She recognized that reservations through Booking.com & perhaps other sites sometimes had challenges in receiving the digital keypad entrance access code. By visiting the hotel reception, things were resolved very quickly and there were absolutely no issues afterwards. If you book through a vacation site, keep this in mind should you have any concerns.
This seems like a very new facility. The room was super clean and very comfortable. The location is very convenient--if you're mobile, it's an easy 15 min walk to the airport terminal, otherwise you can easily catch a taxi. You can also find the subway station (Gateway Gardens) just a very short walk away. There are a couple restaurants and a Rewe store also 2 min walk from this hotel.

TaiwanThere could be more toiletries in the bathroom at the check-in. The WiFi signal was not strong across the whole apartment space. There is not much to do around the area besides a few restaurants, coffee shops and a supermarket.
The location is quite convenient, if your business in Frankfurt is near the airport. Bus options and mostly the metro station Gateway Gardens that goes directly to Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof. The "staffless" experience was very smooth from beginning to end. The apartment has plenty of space and the furniture is quite new and useful for a business stay. Includes an ironing board and iron which are essential for business trips. The supermarket located on the back street matches perfectly with the kitchen and fridge available in the room. The Italian restaurant next door offers very decent food and a great place to meet with clients.

United StatesThe room was not very clean and the stove is not usable and lots of notices for potentially smoke detectors going off and while there are facilities are good along with laundry, they are not easy, practical or convenient to use while on a trip. Parking is expensive and while short term parking is available out front, I even got a parking citation for leaving the car for 30 mins while I checked in and unloaded our bags. The hotel staff pointed us where to park at €20/ day but before we moved the car there, there was parking violation notice.
Convenient and close to a grocery store for supplies and very close and walkable to/from the airport. (terminal 2). The kitchenette and fridge / microwave are nice to have.
