Only a minute's walk from the station. I knew there was no restaurant in the evening but there was an excellent one 2/3 minutes' walk away.

This is a good hotel. The price is great. The room is good. Clean facility. Hot water in the shower which seems like an issue with alot if hotels. One minutes walk from Magdeburg Hbf station which is the central station. If you want to travel around to other cities or the airport, this is the best hotel for you.

We stayed from Saturday to Sunday and some party people started talking loudly on the street in the middle of the night. However, we just closed the window, then it was super quiet for the rest of the night and we could not hear any outside noise. No one to blame, the young generation has to party, and with closing the window, everything was perfectly fine. Except for this, the place is generally super quiet, not much traffic, sirens, or anything like that, which can happen in big cities. That‘s why we were sleeping perfectly fine with an open window in the first place…

Everything was absolutely perfect. The receptionists were super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Whenever you are welcomed like this, you feel very safe and cared for. The facilities were perfectly nice and clean. There was complimentary water, tea, and coffee available at the room. We could not have asked for a better location. We came and left by train. Since the hotel is right next to the train station, when we left for our train, we were at our designated platform within only a few minutes. When we were early for our check-in, we left our luggage at the reception and had late lunch in the city. Major sightseeing points - like Dom or Hunderwasserhaus (we didn’t even know that there was one in Magdeburg and more or less stumbled upon it by accident; it has been a superb surprise to finally see one of those in real life) - can be reached on foot within a couple of minutes. Once again, for our purpose of a one-night stay, we could not have asked for more.

Positioned right next to the Magdeburg Hauptbahnhof the hotel was central to most things whether it be transport, shopping, restaurants and bars. The Cathedral is very close by, as is the Natural, Historical and Art Museum which is well worth a visit also. The hotel is a short walk from the River Elbe where you can take a number of paths along the banks. The staff were very friendly at the hotel.

The price-quality relation was very bad. The maximum price should be 60 Euros for one person (without breakfast). The equipment of the romm seems to be much older than 15 years, the bathroom should be renovated. Some towels were very old - and this for a hotel in this class. :-( The receptionist was not very helpful for giving some help for a location, he just gave the city map and went to the next guest. I asked to get more information about the direction and he did not respond.

The hotel is located at the train station but the room was quiet even of the look toward the tracks 1+2. It is clean, WiFi works good.

The showers doors in the bathrooms need to be replaced! Very soon! And lots of vinegar put on the calcium deposits in the showers. Otherwise nice bathrooms.
