The room itself was quite basic. It was comfortable but not luxurious by any means. Breakfast we decent but had a tendency to get picked over quickly.

The hotels location is close to restarants, bars, and an Sbahn stop. The town itself is a good location from which to explore the Black Forest. The hotel is quiet, even with a bar on the first floor. They also had a wide variety of room types. The restaraunt and bar were surprisingly nice and the food was good. I didnt even want to go elsewhere!

Lovely hotel in general. Great to have the reading nook in the room. The restaurant is great as well in the evening with vegan options. Tasty breakfast too.

- The carpet in the room was very smelly and might need replacement soon (also to make it more allergy-friendly) - The movable shower glassdoor didn't cover well and we ended it up with a wet floor after showering - There was no mini-fridge in the room, although the closet for it was there (but empty) - One of our pillows was stained and smelled bad, but this was replaced the same day :) - Of course the hotel cannot do much about this, but there were a lot of wasps at the outdoor part of the restaurant

The only thing that worried me was the temperature in the room because I was traveling with a pet and there wasn’t a fan (obviously no AC) and I was on the top floor but it turned out to be fine.

I wanted to stay near Titisee (the train ride is only 5 ish minutes) but outside of it to experience more of the Black Forest and enjoy something really peaceful. I couldn’t have chosen a better location. The walk from the train station is about 5 minutes, the room was large and comfortable, and all of the staff friendly. I enjoyed getting dinner and wine in the Bier Garten, can suggest the Caesar salad with chicken and the bratwurst.

I would like a kettle in the room. There was no hairdryer in the room but reception gave me one but it sounded as if it was about to blow up!

The bedroom was very large with 2 armchairs in a reading space. The beds were comfortable. They serve an excellent breakfast and the restaurant is very good for dinner.

Friendly staff. We had a small terrace with beautiful view of the forest. Excellent location. We stayed at the hotel for 10 days with our kids, we had a rental car and took daily trips from the hotel to black forest area

I liked the location, the comfortable room, the very good breakfast, the peace and the helpful staff. The young man serving breakfast was extremely courteous and helpful and worked very hard to keep everyone happy.

Really clean rooms, friendly & caring staff who recommended us nearby places to visit. Balcony with flowers. Hassle free check-in. Hotel helped us with Hochschwarzwald card which got us discounts to couple of places. Good breakfast spread. Plenty of parking space for guests.

We had two rooms, both non smoking, but one room was either right next to a smoking room (or someone was smoking when they shouldn’t have been) such that the room filled with the smell of smoke coming from the hallway.

The rooms are comfortable with a lovely view of the woods. The restaurant is cozy and serves excellent food.

It was a hot summer and the beds had thick duvets and no sheets. Even the mattress cover was not cotton but something to keep you warm (it was scorching, and no A/C). Also not very comfy pillows. But overall really enjoyed our stay

The location is wonderful, very nice views and a good starting point for many of the places to visit in the Black Forest. The breakfast was great and the restaurant served delicious dinner. There were tons available for kids at the restaurant
