We used 2 double rooms for a family of four. One of them had unbearable smell when we checked in. We opened the window and went out for dinner but when we come back the smell was still there.

The hotel is tired and used. Everything is in okay condition, but needs renovation. Reception closes at 22:00.

The hotel and the room were clean. The room had everything needed. The location was good for me to reach a conference venue nearby. There was proper coffee at breakfast, enough choice of food, but in general it was simple. Perfectly fine hotel for 1-2 nights.

I stayed during 8 days, and over these days my room was not cleaned. Only the towel was exchanged and someone picked up the trash. It was obvious that the floors should have been cleaned. However, one gets general impression that the hotel is clean.

It is a nice hotel at a very good location in Aachen. It is the typical Ibis style, basic rooms with bathroom and shower, but the bed was comfortable. The personnel were friendly, they served good breakfast. It was easy to check in and check out.

The room was a bit too small for 3 people and quite dusty. I don't suffer from dust allergies, but both of my colleagues started sneezing on the second day of our arrival. The room wasn't properly cleaned daily; a nice woman was only changing the towels and checking if we had enough toilet paper. An everyday clean is necessary, even if the bedsheets are not changed; it avoids dust accumulating on the floor. Pillows are too thin and not really comfortable to support the head during the night.

I have been travelling to Aachen for work, so I have been sharing a room with 2 of my colleagues. The hotel is located quite close to the city centre (only 10 minutes walk), where the restaurants and other facilities are, and not too far away from the train station. The room they gave us was definitely ok for the price we paid. The shower and the bathroom were big enough and clean when we arrived. The breakfast doesn't offer a wide range of different choices, but has all that is needed, either for a sweet or sour breakfast. The hotel's service matches the price we paid!

The only con were the pillows, they were quite small without a lot of body. The room also was a bit hot and opening the window didn't do a lot.

The room was very clean. The location of the hotel is very close to the center of Aachen which is very nice if you want to do the touristy stuff.

unfriendly staff, we had quite a heavy backpack and would like to leave it before we walked around the town, the staff just said: come back at 3 pm when it opened and we could not help you with your luggage. It is just not type of hospitality that we would like to hear from a hotel. At least give us suggestion where to go or even if we have to be charged for this, at least any solution.

Room is very clean, hot shower, heater in the room worked very well. Nothing is wrong with the room quality.

It is not exactly in the city center and the only way to reach there is walking for more than 1km. Not that bad.

This hotel is very standard as every Ibis Budget. So, it is good to know what to expect. The hotel is very close to a very big bus stop.

Felt very cheap, not that clean (dusty and bed sheets had hairs on them). Limited reception so no personal contact. Therefore also no possibility to leave luggage. Small bed (foots sticking out). Lots of noise outside, lota of homeless people hanging around outside. No possibility to have/buy bottled water (available vending machine was empty).

Check-in was slow because the machine was broken so everyone had to wait while the reception checked everyone in one-by-one. If you have the machine make sure it works

The self-checkin machine was broken, and the reception is only staffed for a few hours per day, so the process of checking-in (or changing a reservation) was very stressful and time consuming. The phone number provided (both on booking.com and in the confirmation emails) is wrong, and it is thus almost impossible to contact the hotel.
