This old building had great character and the restaurant was superb. The rooms are in another modern building behind the main one, through a courtyard. Our room was small but very comfortable and had everything we needed.

Breakfast was of good quality and fairly decent choice but a bit plain. Somewhat surprisingly, regular coffee and tea were included but other coffee varieties have to be paid for separately (Cappuccino at some 5,00 Euro). In other hotels in the region where I stayed this was certainly not the case.

Beautifully renovated hotel in an old town house with modern, well-equipped and very tidy rooms. Ground floor is a restaurant with an inner court which also serves as breakfast area. Friendly staff, adequate service - all good.

The lift did not go up to our floor, which we managed fine, but those with limited mobility should make note.

The main hotel building is beautiful with lots of old wooden panelling and staircases. Our rooms were in the nicely refurbished annexe across the courtyard. Our evening meal was delicious with knowledgeable waiters giving good wine recommendations. The town is delightful.

Room could have AC. They forgot to put towels in our room but it was solved by the time we returned to our room. Pillows are terrible.

It's hard to describe how wonderfully perfect this hotel was.. right in the old town.. beautiful setting the breakfast which was included. And the dinner one night was unbelievable good. The problem with breakfast is it's hard to focus on the food when you're mesmerized by the surroundings... My wife's comment. Was I want to move here

All was good.

Room, was clean, quiet and straightforward nothing fancy, in a positive way. Staff were friendly and knew you by name, one staff member in particular, which is a first. Breakfast covered everything and was stripped back and not over the top. Location was excellent in the centre of the old town, but it had a calmness about it which made for a relaxed break. The old part of the building had great charm and character.

Needed a freshen up in the dining area walls a bit dirty. Breakfast options basic compared to other hotels we stayed at during our trip. Arrived early and was allowed to leave our bags unfortunately the greeting on arrival was poor.

No refrigerator on the room. No cold drinking water that you can drink. No English TV. For the rest all is almost perfect.

Dokter weinstube is a great place to stay. It is a coming home feeling. Nice people. Good food and drinks.

No parking at the hotel. A parking place 200 m from hotel, for parking we have to pay. A bit difficult to draw our luggages from parking to the hotel, because the old bumpy stone covered streets.

Lovely room, great for my sister and I as two mattresses and two quilts although stated as a double room. Location was perfect and the fact that as it was March parking was free everywhere. Breakfast was perfect.

The property was comfortable and very clean. It is in a great location of Bernkastel Kues. The staff are wonderful, very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. We will be coming back!
