We returned from breakfast to find the cleaner working on our room. However, we noticed that the clean bedding was placed on top of the rubbish bin before being used on our bed. This raised some concerns about cleanliness and hygiene. It would be helpful if clean bedding could be handled with more care, perhaps by placing it on a chair or other clean surface instead. Thank you for considering this feedback!

Had last stayed 14 years ago. It’s no longer as ‘buzzy’ as it was - no real atmosphere in the bar or lobby as there was before - but I guess things move in.

Splendid room and bathroom. Luxurious bed and linen. Breakfast among the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had ever !

Spa zone and pool smaller than you would expect from pictures.

It was awesome. Don’t be fooled by its rather old school exterior. The interior, the staff, room, food, everything perfect.

The room was specious. We had a bathtub and a shower cabin, which was great. The hotel is very close to the zoo and to main shop streets. The lady at the reception with the beautiful smile is a big asset to the hotel. Thank you, dear Miss for making my stay there fantastic.

Standard room a little small, cleaner took our dressing gowns half way during our stay for some reason and never returned them even though we needed them to wear for the swimming pool. All staff were super friendly and so helpful apart from the barman in the gin bar.

The breakfast was delicious - the best breakfast I've every experienced at any hotel. The location was good for us - not too hectic.

Tea making facilities in the room were minimal. I also didn't use the pool or spa because it was unclear how access worked.

Staff were very welcoming and polite, my room was comfortable and the location very central. I liked having a bath in my room and appreciated the free late check out.

The location is excellent, bus stop and subway are very close, making it easy to walk to restaurants, shops, and several attractions. The lobby was bright and welcoming, and check-in was fast and efficient. The room itself was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with modern amenities. I especially appreciated the comfortable bed and the pillow menu. Housekeeping did a great job each day, and the complimentary bottled water was refilled everyday. Breakfast was varied and tasty, with plenty of options. The staff was attentive and always greeted us with a smile. Not to forget the food at the lobby bar/restaurant as well as their Gin bar where we had a great time as well.

One thing that was a bit disappointing was the club lounge - we were staying on the 7th floor and went into it and were a bit disheartened by it , didnt understand the purpose of it and were basically asked to go to the bar for a drink

Brilliant location lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Train station five minutes walk away also. Lovely hotel with very friendly staff.
