Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesLocation was pretty but a little far for tourists from the city center. They told us it was in the embassy section of the city.
Amazing hotel! We stayed in a larger room with a sitting area. We were received with a fruit basket and orchid plant. Everything in the mini bar was complementary (beer, juices, sparkling water). They turned down twice a day with evening chocolate. Breakfast at the restaurant was delicious served elegantly.

GermanyFor a “5 star” to have no coffee machine in the room was disappointing. The shower also didn’t work (the adjustable height part didn’t work so you had to do it manually in your hand) and the white towels had marks on them. Amenities in the bathroom not replenished daily and again, not 5 star quality. It was a very nice hotel and the staff were first class but you can’t claim to be 5 star when these touches aren’t taken care of.

United KingdomThe staff were efficient but overall not friendly although there are exceptions. Considering how good the bed was the pillows were poor. The location is a little way away from everything Munich has to offer and the breakfast and overall cost of the hotel were slightly expensive for what you get on balance.
We had an executive double which was well appointed, the bed was very comfortable, the balcony was an added bonus and the bathroom and shower excellent. The complimentary mini bar and coffee machine were a welcome addition. Overall a very nice stay.

Beautiful Garden, beautiful room which was clean and spacious with very nice amenities. Great welcome staffs (I think he was concierge team) greeting you upon arrival, very helpful gentleman. The whole team was very helpful and attentive. Very nice breakfast selection in tasteful room next to garden, very good service. Overall it was a very pleasant stay!

GermanyThe restaurant is unfortunately overpriced, and doesn't always deliver quality wise. Wine and drinks choices are superb, but the food leaves a lot of room for improvement. From what I've heard, though, this is all subject to change, they are currently renovating and a new chef will take over.
I'm really glad to have found this place. I need to travel to Munich quite frequently, and this place feels like a home away from home. The glory is in the details. From the instant hot water in the shower to the silent air conditioning and heating, it's the things you don't notice that really make the difference here. The staff is amazing, and the location could not be any better. On top of all of that, the bar is a real gem. Wolfgang, the Barkeeper, is a legend. I'll be a regular guest from now on, for sure. My search is over.

United StatesWe never got shown to our rooms when our room was ready. Just how to get to our room… didn’t show us the bar area or anything. I’ve never been to a 5 star hotel that didn’t offer late night food. Beyond surprised it has this kind of rating without the concierge and restaurant with minimal hours. We most likely will not be back. We travel every 30 days to luxury hotels around the world… and I was a bit confused by this one.
Room was very comfortable, and the train station was within 10 minutes walking.

The staff was so nice, the courtyard views were fantastic, the A/C functioned well, and the courtesy touches in the mini bar and fruit platter were phenomenal. The bar and restaurant were also incredibly nice and convenient. We walked everywhere and had great access to the riverfront and Käfer market (very nice). Thank you for a great experience!
