The bed was not comfortable for me, the mattress was very soft, and the pillows were not the best.

Nice location, just by the lake and easy access from the train station. The surrounding forest is amazing for a stroll. The hotel itself is charming, the lobby and dinning area are beautifully preserved. The staff were outstanding, super friendly and helpful. The pool area was also a good plus, specially in case the weather outside is not so good. The breakfast and dinner were very good as well.

Toilet was dirty long black hairs, shower had no plug so dont drop a ring or earrings, no Bacon or boiled Eggs for breakfast, for almost 160€ a night thats not good enough. No parking space for motorbike, space is cramped. During breakfast personnel dropped knives and still layed them on the table.

Water in pool and jaccuzzi was very cold, we were looking forward to the pool but it was disappointing. Spa area was just 2 finnish saunas with lower and higher temperature

I truly loved my stay at Ligula Dieksee. My room was clean, and quiet, The pool and sauna were super convenient. Breakfast was absolutely, absolutely stellar. The staff were friendly, and in high spirits. Not quite sure what some other reviewers had expected...in my opinion, this was worth double of what I paid...and it would still be fair !!!

The room and the bathroom desperately need renovation. There were a lot of spiders inside the room and on the balcony. There was dust on all the surfaces.

Nice and relaxing place with amazing views. Breakfast was perfect, the restaurant also has a lot of tasty dishes. There are no activities in February, but it is perfect for relaxing days. The swimming pool is nice, there was some construction near the sauna, but in general everything was great.

1) The bathroom shower is extremely tight. My wife is not a big person and she felt uncomfortable showering there. I had to shower by the swimming pool locker rooms, where I would have enough space for me. 2) The bed in our bedroom made some noises everytime we moved. It was a bit annoying. 3) I booked two rooms with a lake view, but we were given rooms in the first floor, with trees and part of the roof by the window and balcony level, so we basically paid more for no lake view at all. 4) Rooms are poorly illuminated, as there are no ceiling lights, only two small table lamps. 5) But the worst of all was the staff lady that knocked heavily on our door at 11:45 am asking (in a not friendly tone) when we were planning on leaving because check out was at 11am. We were about to leave the room by that time, and I told and showed her that our booking confirmation stated that check out was at 12. In a very rude manner she said that they had already informed booking.com that that information was not correct and that check out was at 11am, as if we were intentionally extending our stay by an hour.

The swimming pool was really nice. It was warm enough with plenty space for other guests. Our kids had a great time by the pool. The rooms are also spacious.

Staff is polite but clearly doesn’t have friendliness as a standard. We had a very unfortunate situation with the receptionist due to a misunderstanding and were basically accused of not understanding the usual German behaviour. Even after clarifying it, there was just not an apology.

Hotel is located in a very beautiful area with good restaurants around. Indoor swimming pool is not that large but especially for our children it worked well.

In terms of location, for this town, it was good, at the edge of the lake. But for things to do for younger generations, not much around. Only a handful of restaurants, even less terraces for drinks. Although the food quality was great, the prices were high and the portions were small.

The view was nice over the lake. The wifi was great everywhere, on the entire premises, even sufficient on the balcony of the room. The pool was never busy, always nice. The staff was amazing. Even the ones who barely spoke English, made an effort to try so when they noticed my German was horrible. The food was good quality. The beds were amazing.

Hotel: The reason for our visit was for my wife's birthday and this hotel and location looked perfect for us to celebrate together. Upon arrival at the hotel where greeted very nice by the reception staff, they were really warmly welcoming and helpful with all our questions....Great service...🤗 The hotel itself is very nice, clean and has some great features, and is very picturesque against the lakes backdrop. Currently, some of the rooms are being renovated, which will for sure improve the hotel in the future. Room: We were located on the first floor room no1. The room size was plenty, and the view overlooking the lake with also our own balcony was awesome 👌 the beds were very comfortable, and the room was very well presented and supper clean. Amenities: There is also a very nice restaurant within the hotel. Note if you would like a table book in advance and ask for a lakeside table view 😉 The indoor heated pool, jacuzzi, and sauna were superb...Also overlooking the lake... This was a plus plus for us...Also located on the first floor and very close to our room 🏊‍♀️👍 Parking: There is parking at the hotel, note, not so many spaces, however there is also parking directly outside the hotel and it was supper cheap, again not so many spaces. Location: Simply perfect 👍 right overlooking the lake, supper centrally located to the local restaurant 2 min walk and only 5min walk into the town which has a very nice park, shops, restaurants and bars. Tips: Book a lake view room definitely worth the extra few euros. Value for money: Excellent considering it location, amenities and very friendly staff. Would I recommend: Definitely yes Would I go again: We have already booked another stay in August 👍This time we have booked two lake view rooms as we plan to surprise my mother and farther 🤫 Thank you for a wonderful stay.
