Could have been much better managed, especially the Pantry and communal spaces. It’s under managed, and has only one person, who is hardly seen nor contactable. Question not answered. We were told by tourism office there’s a tourist card that affords us discounts in Goslar sights, but we were not given any and no had response via text whatsoever.

Get to see an old house arranged as a hostel with plenty rooms. Toilet is spacious and clean on third floor, shower pressure is good.

We were unable to cook during our stay because of the state of the kitchen. Cooking oil everywhere, dirty utenziles, and mouldy fridge. Better just stay there for sleeping and spend the rest of the day outside.

Not too pricey and good location for starting our hiking trip. Easy to get to the hotel and "interesting" check in experience. Bed was alright (a few stains) and our private bathroom was clean. Room was private and not loud.

The group kitchen in the hostel wasn't kept clean. I only used it to boil some water for coffee and noodles. The property is unstaffed. I did not receive instructions on check-in priot to arrival and had to make an expensive phone call when I got to the property. Hmmmm, 5 minutes on the phone adds about 15 Euros to the cost of things when you don't have a local phone plan.

The place is like an old villa on the outskirts of town and is very atmospheric. Everything about my private room was lovely. The WiFI was very fast, maybe because there were few other guests. It was very quiet.

Dorm rooms and front door have no keys, so anyone could walk in, take all your stuff and walk out with no issues. Reception is over the phone and they might or might not pick up when you call (I hope you can call German numbers from your travel SIM card). Bathroom has all sorts of improvised fixes, like jamming a pipe out of the tub with an old towel. WiFi password is something like “GuestsMustBehave” as if the problem was people who stay there. Maybe they mean the ghosts and lost souls that are probably there. Any of the Adam’s family members would have a blast there. (I usually don’t do reviews like this, but I can’t help but to resort to good humor. I have never stayed in a place like this after decades traveling around all continents).

The owner should consider turning this into a German Horror Story theme hostel. It would be super accurate to the haunted asylum vibes.

This is the first hostel that I need to put the clean bedding set on. No trash bin.

The location is ok. It only takes around 1 km to the downtown. You can park on street. They leave the clean bedding set on the bed.

Did not get the right reservation, was shorted 2 beds. The owner stopped answering the phone. One room had no heat. Many rooms would not lock. And the place was extremely dirty including bed covers with blood. Also ran out of toilet paper

It was a disaster. 1. The room was a complete mess: torn mattress covers, stained walls in cracks, furniture with scuffs and traces of use (for example, the seat cushions of the chairs were not screwed to the base). the overhead lighting in the bedroom did not work and the bedside lamps did not work reliably. the icing on the cake was the cobwebs above my bed. 2. The Wi-Fi was working. Without internet connection. 3. My friend’s bedsheet was covered in some sort of fur. 4. The room didn't lock from the inside so we slept with the door unlocked which felt unsafe. 5. In general the room didn’t match the photos on booking.com 6. The biggest issue is that there was no one from the staff in the hostel to talk to. They didn’t answer the phone calls as well.

Good location is the only bonus of the place.

I would like to report my bad experience during my stay at this facility. Unfortunately, there were several problems that greatly affected my stay. Firstly, I had to wait over an hour to receive the room key from the staff. Additionally, upon arrival, the room was not ready. I was informed by the staff that the cleaner was absent that day, resulting in a delayed cleaning of the bathroom and changing of the bed linen. This took a significant amount of time and made me feel very uncomfortable. As a result of these circumstances, I spent most of my time outside the building to avoid the chaos and only returned around 8pm. Consequently, I was unable to fully enjoy my stay. I must admit that I am extremely disappointed with this experience.

Easy and pro-active communication with lessor. Flat is old fashioned but clean, everything is prepared e.g. towels, a functioning washing machine, well doing shower and full equipped kitchen. The location is close to a supermarket and a park is nearby.

It was like a place of refuge. The floor of the room looks like it has not been cleaned for a year. The bad smell of dead fish could be smelled everywhere in the hotel. The rooms did not match the room that was booked. In general, as I said, it was not a hotel, it looked more like a place for the homeless. All night I could not sleep, because there was no feeling of security. All the doors were completely open and without security.
