How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We were excited about the pool and hot tub, but the facilities required payment and were more exercise-focused than leisure-focused.
Extremely comfortable, spacious room. Beds were very nice. Location was amazing. Staff was professional and friendly.

The rugs made us a little allergic, ı reccommend to make renovations of the rugs.
The location was great. Pillow was so comfy. We were pleased by the Housekeeping and receptionists were so helpfull and cheerful.

The day before we arrived I had an email saying I had to register for online checkin. Wasted half an hour trying and failing to make it work.
Great location anf very comfortable room. The executive lounge was brilliant, good variety of food and drink in happy hour

Duvet cover had a mark on it when we arrived. Bathroom extraction fan did not stop steaming up mirrors. Air con could have been a little more effective.

Rooms are outdated needs renovation , and there was no make up room service, bed were not done, coffee/ tea no added , left empty sachets .

We arrived on the night of 27th by car. We parked outside to unload the luggage and asked for directions to the carpark. The receptionist was argumentative, very unfriendly and rather dismissive. I had to leave and basically come back as it was impossible for any map applications to give driving directions to their carpark. I went back looking for directions and this time the new shift was there and was a bit more descriptive about the directions to their carpark. We checked in and found blood stains on the duvet. We had the duvet replaced in the end with nothing but a short apology. Breakfast was cheap and there was nothing special about it. I will not recommend this hotel and we will definitely not be back. Bathrooms needs bit of a revamp old style we were hear 8 years ago and it still looks tired but it still works

The Hilton Dresden is in the city center near several old historic buildings. Excellent breakfast. The room was very comfortable and spacious.

Room needed some more attention, hairs around bathroom and someone else's food and drink left in the fridge, remote control was filthy. Normally wouldn't mention it but expected more for the price.
Location was excellent, hotel was easy to find. Breakfast was at a high standard. Staff were very friendly.

Had to pay to use the pool.........What gives with that. The rest room on the ground floor was CLOSED. Had to go across the way to use the facilities there. Ge real. Disappointing on these two points.

I guess it’s a chain and very busy so doesn’t have that homely feel
Great breakfast selection. Good leisure facilities especially swimming pool and jacuzzi and absolutely right in the centre of the old town. Bike hire on doorstep as are most of the sights

The windows were blocked "for guests' safety" and couldn't be opened completely, but rather just a bit. If the weather is hot outside, the room gets warm and a little stuffy. But the most annoying thing was the mode of connecting to the hotel WiFi, which urges the user to re-do the sign-in approx each 24 hours by entering the credentials, and then filling a web form and "purchase" the basic internet connection for 0 euros. Very annoying and impractical. The hotel offers a faster WiFi, but one has to purchase that option. Expect that for all the "little extra" stuff you'll have to pay a little bit, be it a faster internet connection, visiting the swimming pool or loaning an umbrella, etc.
Excellent location in the very center, near the main church. The breakfast is an exceptionally rich buffet, with excellent coffee, good selection of the pastry, and very helpful staff. The room was neat and practical, with iron and ironing board, slippers, bathrobe, and sufficient amount of hangers.
