We could not fault anything.

We had a self-catering apartment with a balcony, but we had the choice of having an excellent breakfast at extra cost. All sufficient equipment was supplied in our apartment, which was very spacious and comfortable, with a balcony. We also had the use of an excellent swimming pool. You could buy wine and soft drinks on the premises, which you tallied yourself and paid for at the end of your stay. The staff were all friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. We had a very relaxing holiday with plenty of activities in and around the town. We would highly recommend staying here, and we will definitely return to Haus Erholung.

This was one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had. The owners were amazing and became like family to us during an extended stay. We enjoyed the amazing breakfast they provided each day. The view of the river, town, and castle are beautiful and just as in the pictures. Our apartment was spacious and well appointed. The walk into town was short, but immediately near to us were a great restaurant and wine garden. Already I am talking with my traveling companions about our next trip to Cochem, and we would absolutely stay at Haus Erholung again.

Exceptional clean, helpful host, friendly atmosphere. Parking. Swimming pool. Nicely quite with birds singing in the morning. Good breakfast with view to the castle. Close to centrum.

Really friendly people! Clean rooms and great breakfast. The location was ideal. Only few minutes walking from the center but quiet. We enjoyed our stay and definitely we'll be back.

We had to leave..!

This hotel is an absolute gem. It is a family business, and the owners, Tom and Andrea, are exceptional hosts. Nothing was too much trouble in the care of their guests. The whole staff were very friendly, extremely efficient and looked after us well. The hotel is kept sparkling clean and the guest refreshment lounge is kept well stocked. Located in a beautiful area along the Mosel River, the hotel has fantastic views all round. Our room had a great view of Cochem castle. Thank you, Tom and Andrea for a great few days with you. (And a special mention to Tom for arranging the outstanding lightning show..!)

Very comfortable apartment in Cochem, with views of the Model. 10 minutes walk from the town centre where all the historic buildings are located. The castle at the top of the hill is just stunning. Very good breakfast and very nice host family. Available free parking just outside the building. I will certainly come back to have a long weekend break in the future!

Nothing perfect

This was a beautiful hotel and met all our expectations and needs. The couple who manage the hotel could not have done more for us and really made us feel at home, they took time to help us get the most of our stay at this lovely town. The breakfast was amazing. The hotel location was perfect a easy walk to town. It also had a great indoor pool as well. So for us perfect and good value and we would return with no hesitation. .

We arrived by train and one of the owners picked us up at the station. They also lent us umbrellas and upgraded our room. Breakfast was very nice and the view from the breakfast room was stunning. Staff was super friendly and helpful. We picked up a car on the second day and there was easy parking right on site. The whole experience was wonderful.

That only one building as a lift, not both, and it’s only possible to have breakfast, no other meals.

The swimming pool, the sitting solarium area, and the relax room where one can get oneself, coffee, tea, or cold drinks from the fridge. Very friendly staff and owners.

Extremely friendly staff, ample free parking, lovely and quiet pool with easy access to clean towels etc, a very pleasant 10 minute stroll into town along the river.

We had a lovely time in Cochem and the accommodations at Haus Erholung was amazing. The owners are friendly and incredibly helpful. The room had a wonderful view of the Castle and the breakfast was excellent. We hope to be back soon!
