My room was on the main road and I could hear the traffic during the day. However at night it was ok.

I must praise the shower - the adjustable shower head and the water pressure. It is not often that I come across a decent shower like this. The young lady at breakfast was very friendly and helpful. Hosts invisible but replied quickly to queries online - effective management.

It was all good we have stayed at the hotel many times before

The room was clean and a nice size, the breakfast on Sunday and Monday, especially was lovely. The lady I think her name was Chilla from Hungary was wonderful not just to us but to all the guest. The lady with a very long plat in her hair on Saturday morning was no where near as friendly.

No restaurant in the hotel, no bar, drinks from a refrigerator, no lift, but we can walk, centrum with several restaurants on walking distance. Parking places not always available in the street but there is a parking at 200m. The good things: good beds, quiet at night, breakfast is ok.

Only thing - there are no parking spots, which is ok, as this is communicated by the hotel in advance. But I came with my bike and would appreciate maybe some storage/garage for the bikes as well.

Good hotel. Next to the city centre and the train station. The room was fine, also the breakfast was very good (huge possibilities of choice). Greeting to the very nice lady at the breakfast/reception from Hungary. :-)

The curtains of the room didn't close well and at 7am the light came in. In five days nobody on the reception of the hotel :(

Typical bavieran hotel, situated in a beauty town, so close to nice citycenter and Jordan park (perfect playground for childrens). Good and varied breakfast, and quadruple room are perfect for families.

Check-in is not the smoothest Have to carefully and fully press the buttons on the keypad but once we got inside and located our envelope, it was fine It was the most unusual check-in I’ve experienced There were two couples outside when we arrived and they couldn’t figure out how to get in, so they entered with us

The reception was only manned for a few hours each day. Consequently, there was often no-one there when you really needed it. For example, a pot of filter coffee was supplied but it was cold. There was a Nespresso machine with coffee pods to use, but some of the time there was no milk to go with it, so you couldn't make an enjoyable cup of coffee. The coffee machines in the breakfast room only provided luke-warm coffee. The heating in our room never really worked properly. Part of the radiator was hot but other parts were not. When you come in from a cold winter's day you want a warm room so that you can warm up when you are inside, but it always felt a bit chilly.

We loved the location - an easy walk from the train station, an easy walk into the old town and there was a useful shopping centre nearby. The young guy on reception was very helpful when he was there on duty. Really appreciated the bucket of umbrellas at the door. The Nespresso machine available for guests was a good idea.

Beds weren’t very comfortable. Bathroom was a bit smelly. Room was very hot, no airco or fan. No staff for most of the day (only during breakfast). Overpriced during high season.

Free parking, lots of restaurants in the vicinity. Friendly staff. Solid breakfast.

Initially, I couldn't find my pre-registration form at the unstaffed front desk. It was my fault and with the help of a staff member, it was located. Bike storage door was confusing to open. Again my fault!

This pretty hotel is just outside the historic area in Kaufbeuren. The front desk is largely unstaffed, so check in is do it yourself. The room was clean and well stocked, breakfast was good. Nice place to stay.
