Lavish breakfast. The evening meals were a good selection of traditional German cooking using local, seasonal ingredients where appropriate. The staff were most help and friendly to this English speaker. I would recommend this hotel for a quiet getaway or base to explore the green countryside of northern Germany. I had a friend pick me up and deliver me back by car. When it came time to depart, there is a bus right outside the hotel into the town of Wedel, from where a train runs directly to Hamburg Airport.

Lovely hotel in a rural location. Very comfortable rooms and a very popular restaurant. They also have a large function room which is great for private functions like weddings.

This property was perfect for us but there aren’t stores within walking distance if that is important to you. There is a bus very close by.

The Haselauer Landhaus is in a beautiful rural part of Germany with comfortable rooms. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The included breakfast was very good and there was a nice selection. We ate many other meals in the busy restaurant and enjoyed that also. They have a nice patio area in the front where we had pre dinner drinks.

The restaurant is very good and serves nice homemade food. They also have every now and again “specials “ of seasonal products. Rooms are well proportioned and we had a bathroom with shower. Our room was in the annex and thus very quiet, no traffic noise. Full length doors / windows with screens allow them to be open at all times

More far way from Hamburg than I expected. Easy 1 hour drive. Super good own restaurant, but I expected more touristic german food. Prices a little higher than I expected as well. Room carpet

Good navigation recommended (the place is a bit remote, not right next to the main highways) Agricultural traffic in the summer (the place is located in a rural area, tractors and machines may start working early in the morning and finish late in the night) Due to the arrangements, self-checkin is not possible

It is hot in the room even if it’s 12 degrees Celcius outside.

Cozy hotel, good restaurant, big rooms, a lot of hot water in the shower, net on the window, comfortable bed, tasty breakfast, private parking (they let us leave our motorcycle inside the save garage). The staff is very nice, helpful and welcoming.

Actually all was good ... the weather was bad - which is not their fault ... nothing to improve. Room is great and the added breakfast is worth a stay.

We got in late, were greeted nicely and asked if we had dinner ... the room was in an extra building - modern and beautiful ... water and goodies on the room. Breakfast was delicious ... would go again !
