Longer walk to get to the Old Town which wasn't so convenient for a short stay (like ours), but otherwise the location is great and the hotel is a 20 minute walk from the station if you ignore Google maps which took us on a detour around the harbour!!

The decor, the facilities, the breakfast, the room. All comfortable, easy to navigate the self service catering system. The communal areas were big, stylish and comfortable to sit and have a drink whilst watching the world go by. Close to the river to go for a walk and the "trendy" part of town was close with plenty of bars and eateries. Art gallery and another coffee shop directly opposite. On the main bus route to take you to the station or old town. We were in a quadruple bunk bed room, the shower and toilet were separate which was very convenient and even better if travelling with friends.

Checked in at 17:00 and allocated a room, but found it was still being prepared, so needed to return to reception to be allocated a different room. Little choice of hot option for breakfast - eggs, grilled vegetables and chicken meatballs.

Very nice rooms and lovely location. A bit out of the centre but still a nice walk. Bikes are available in front of the hotel. Check in was fast and staff was very helpfull. Fresh water in front of the reception and drinks are available throughout the night. We had a very pleasant stay!

Pillows! Seem to be mentioned by everyone - those provided are no good, unfortunately when we requested additional pillows none were available due to other customers already having requested. This feedback is consistent among guests, perhaps it’s time to invest in some better pillows!

I was a little unsure about the room cleaning it's not really an issue for me but more clarity would be better.

It's a wonderful hotel with wonderful staff especially Simon on reception, professional and courteous and very helpful. Staff in the restaurant were brilliant kind and very accommodating. Always professional and kind.
