Better than expected . For the price , the room was so big , décoration was so beautiful. All equipments working perfectly. Peacefull area , i felt very safe and like home . Check in/ out so easy .

Although parking was provided, it felt kind of off to park on their property. But that is a very minor critique, nothing important really. Also we felt the water flow from the shower to be very generous - too generous to be exact. A restriction filter to slower the water might be good to concider? We opened the faucet maybe 10% and it felt wasted.

Very well organized, all information needed was sent before the stay via multiple channels (email, booking.com, messages). Clean, good amenities, very adorable decor (befitting the season) and beautiful rooms. The balcony was very handy. Bathroom was spacious.

The kitchen and bathroom were down a steep metal spiral staircase, which I hadn’t picked up on from the listing. I got used to it after a short while but bit inconvenient for trips to the bathroom at night. I would not recommend for those of a nervous disposition, unsteady on their feet or prone to sleepwalking!! Temperamental electric blinds.

Apartment on a leafy Potsdam street which I got to like a lot during my stay. The apartment itself was old style with dark, heavy furniture, but comfortable. Small kitchen and dining area downstairs which caught the morning sun, so nice for breakfast. Kitchen facilities well equipped with crockery etc. adequate for making simple meals. Very clean and pleasant overall. I was very grateful for the Netflix access as travelling alone! Good tram transport to Potsdam Hbf and other parts of the city. But also walkable distances to lakes, Glienicke Brücke, Mauerweg, Schloss Charlottenhof and other attractions. Plenty of supermarkets around including a nice organic one just down the road.

The staircase to bathroom and kitchen is quite steep. Maybe a non-slip mat for the bath/shower would be good.

Lovely spacious rooms. Well equipped kitchen; good wifi; desk; parking. Easy to access and central to transport and all the sights of Potsdam. Very responsive hosts.

There's very little to criticise. I was curious to know more about the history of the charming house, given the history of Potsdam

A charming pension house with an excellent spacious room in this boutique guest house. Potsdam is a beautiful city in its own right, with lots to see and do, but in addition, it's connected to Berlin which is half an hour away. The guesthouse is both central in Potsdam, right by a tramstop and still a quiet neighbourhood if you want to relax. The house must have history more than explained in the notes, which I'd live to know, given the years in the DDR

Not really suitable for young children, or the elderly/ infirm. The bathroom is down a steep spiral staircase which is tricky to use, particularly so if you need to use it in the middle of the night. The pull down double bed downstairs isn’t particularly comfortable and also restricts access to the table. The kitchenette, whilst adequate, is tiny.

Nice situation near a tram stop, supermarket and bakery. Trams into the city centre run every 20 minutes.

We had a wonderful stay in this traditional building centrally placed close to Potsdam City Centre. Everything was arranged via mails and telephone. The key was waiting for us together with a bottle of sect and a tulip on the table. Comfortable rooms and everything impecable. The bathroom and a small kitchen was downstairs and we knew this up front. For us this was no problem, but must be considered for people with mobility restrictions. Another positive was the free parking when space is available. Very good value for money we will definitely be back!

The stay was amazing. Clean and comfy room with a clean bathroom. Everything is new and renovated. I was welcomed in the room with refreshments. The room didn't have a kitchen, but it did have a refrigerator, a kettle and a coffee machine with coffee capsules nearby. I would highly recommend the place and would definitely love to come back.

The stairs to the down floor are not very comfortable. There was an additional payment for having overnight guests. There was no AC (but was a ventilator) and it is impossible to open windows at night due to noisy street. The '"guest's" bed downstairs was very old and therefore not so comfortable.

The location is great, 5 min by tram to the city center, 15 minutes by foot to the lake, where one can swim. The room looks very cool. The staff is very friendly. The kitchen has everything you need (no oven) and there was even some salt, pepper and a little bit of coffee. The bed upstairs is huge and very comfortable. The Wi-Fi is good, but just upstairs.

Entry is easy with a PIN code into the building, then a key for your room. Some steps to carry your luggage up at the entrance. Rooms are very nice, we had a terrace to sit on facing the street. Very quite at night with the triple glazing. Bathroom is of good size and fantastic shower. Comfortable beds. We really enjoyed our stay here.

The kitchen was equipped with everything you need. The bathroom also included a good hair dryer which I appreciated immensely. The explanations about the operation of the TV, the WIFI etc were very clear. They also put at our disposal maps and guides of the city, transport etc. One of the employees dedicated her precious time to explain to us which type of transport card was more convenient. We even had umbrellas when needed. I have no complaints.

Would have liked to had a common area for the four of us, but we knew that it didn’t have one when we booked it, so it’s not a fault of the property. We would have preferred if all of the property’s parking spaces were available as there are only a few and one of the spaces was blocked by a pile a dirt.
