Rooms were either too hot or filled with bugs, maybe even bed bugs. Definitely could use an update on everything, but the staff was so kind we didn’t really even care that much.

The ceiling in the room was low as it was under the sloping part of the roof, The head height is very restricted. No soap at the hand basin.

There was a musty smell in the hotel, but It wouldn't put me off staying again. The hotel is currently undergoing construction, but it did not affect our stay.

A traditional hotel in the heart of beautiful Kaufbeuren. We received a warm welcome from receptive, attentive staff throughout our stay. A special thank you to the breakfast team who presented a fresh continental breakfast daily and were so happy and engaging. We loved eating alfresco on the hotel terrace. From our large double room (201) at the front of the hotel we could enjoy the architecture of this storybook town. You can hear the church bells day & night. We'd highly recommend staying here.

The location was great. I was on a business trip with colleagues and the hotel was very comfortable for our purposes, it is located in central but calm area and is relatively near to Munich. The restaurant was offered delicious food and nice view.

Bathroom could be bigger and toilet could be modernized, but it is overall meeting the needs. It is a historical building, it seems that it is hard to make changes

It was a very clean hotel. The room we stayed in was divided into 2 floors and had a very nice architecture. It was very fascinating to stay in a historical building. I would like to stay again.

Big and clean room and staff behavior

Big and clean room. But parking is not available.. Which is the worst thing.

On the first night there was a wedding in the room below so loud music was playing until early hours. Not something major but worth being aware of if theres an event when you arrive.

Situated in the centre of the town. There's an attached restaurant with outside seating. I stayed twice after travelling to and from Munich. First time I was able to park my motorcycle for free in a carpark a few minutes walk away. The second time I was told this wasn't available and that I'd have to pay to use the underground carpark. Only about 8 euros but I wasn't expecting it. Staff very nice.

Shower on one side of the room and the toilet with sink on the other side. Not practical. In the morning no boiled eggs whereas the heater was on and empty. The coffee machine didn't work because milk was missing. This was solved rather quickly.

Room had no heating and I was freezing, but did go and ask for a heater and was given one. Stayed in a room over looking Main Street and it got noisy at night, no sound proofing.

Parking is an issue. No parking for more than 75min near the hotel. On wednesdays and thursdays no parking at all. The hotels' restaurant is outrageously expensive.
