I don’t have many bad things to say about the room - it was okay, nothing too bad. There are many small things that I would consider just lack of care. Clearly, they aren’t cleaning regularly - the 3 days I was there no one has cleaned the bathroom and one of the sinks was clogged with soap and dirt. In general the whole place was very dirty. I think I even saw a bed bug on my way out but I’m not 100% sure. I’ve seen people say they had bed bugs in this hostel so assume it probably was a bed bug. If you need a cheap place to stay in the city centre for a night or two it’s okay but I wouldn’t recommend it for a longer stay.

Toilets and showers stink and are too few for the amount of people; there is constant noise from other rooms and the walls are paper thin so you can hear everything - I felt like I was sharing a bed with the people in the next rooms! The room was old and grimy, pillow was uncomfortable. I basically slept about 3 hours per night for the 3 nights I was there. I think I would have had a similar experience if I was in a shared dormitory. I totally understand that this is a quite low price for Marienplatz, and you should expect only basic facilities. However, it was much worse than I was expecting and in hindsight I'd have paid a bit more and/ or gone a bit further out of the centre. One of the main things which isn't clear from the website is that there are people living there permanently (presumably in tiny rooms with the most basic facilities) and so you are not just sharing with tourists, you are sharing with residents. In particular, there was constant noise from the residents either side of me who seemed to be in their rooms 24/7 and made noise all day and night. The person on one side was having loud phone conversations until 1am, the person on the other side had a strange habit of constantly dropping things on the floor so there were loud bangs literally every 20 mins until about 3am. I'm used to sacrificing comfort, to pay less, I totally get that and have done it countless times in lots of different countries. But this one pushed the boundaries of what I can put up with personally, and I was glad to be leaving the place. It felt a bit like a homeless shelter.

The location is perfect and Munich is an absolutely wonderful city

I asked if it is possible to check out late and got a confirmation that “you can check out whenever you want”. And when I tried to explain that to the staff he kept saying its logical that the check out is at 11am, I know the rules, but receiving a reply like that of course I’ll assume that it is okay.

the bathrooms weren’t particularly amazing- having to walk down a flight of stairs just to use the bathroom. And they weren’t particularly clean either. Other guests were quite loud but nothing can be helped about that. Microwave made very worrying sounds when in use.

- There was no way of ventilation in the room, so I got really hot at time and there wasn't even a fan to help with that. Same with the halls that also got very hot - There was no hand soap in the restroom, I know I got a soap together with the towels, but it's a bit of a pain having to carry the soap with me every time I had to go to the restroom

Send somebody to verify correct address. zero security.: front door always unlocked. really anybody from the street could walk in. there was a code, but not useful when the front door is unlocked. Shared bathroom NOT indicated in the room profile. this must be indicated. I wld not have booked had I known.

Bathrooms were on the floor below at end of corridor, not ideal overnight. You had to remember to take toilet paper, towel and hand soap from the room each time you went to bathroom. The pillows were very lumpy, low price, not intended for commercial use. Clearly a low budget option as advertised but bathrooms on another floor was too far, not expected.

There was no one to contact with. Luggage storage was not available. It was very struggling to spend time with luggages until 3 pm. Also the elevator was out of service. Climbing up the stairs with a luggage was very hard. It was very expensive considering these conditions.

Huge closet where you can hang your clothes from the rod using clotheshangers, or you can if you go out and buy some clotheshangers first. Really wouldnt kill them economically to make the big closet usable by including hangers but right now its literally only in the way for no use whatsoever.

A total and unpleasant surprise. The accommodation didn't meet our expectations at all for the price—for three people with a shared bathroom. We paid €80, and the bathroom, which belonged to the entire apartment, was three corridors away. The windows wouldn't close, and the curtains were dirty and smelled. I could go on forever, but I'll summarize it as a very very bad experience. The apartment was full of men, and they behaved strangely. I was there with my mother and my 16-year-old daughter, and we really didn't feel safe showering or going to the bathroom alone. They really should clarify the conditions there, this is not a place for this price and not for Booking. I have try an your selection and ofert place and was very much disappointment.

The bathrooms were quit clean, just the male bathroom was smelling really bad.

Excellent position in the center, there is a garage near where you can park for 24h 28eu. There is no reception but they answer immediatly through chat and are very efficient.The room had essential things ( bedsheets, towel, soap, fridge and microwave). There were washing machines.

The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in，which the stuff had a terrible and very mean attitude to us ，the room was full of bad smell from the furnitures ，the toilets were so far away from the rooms，even I tried to change a room they charged me 60 euros more，I must say that they had been used to bullying and cheating the tourists .If u have a choice not stay here.
