Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

the rooms and bathroom are outdated, nevertheless clean. Would be better to renovate. On the other hand, the former Pope stayed here so it must be good :)

The fourth bed in our room was a kind of sofa with a mattress on it, not very comfortable.

Breakfast was very basic. No fruits, no yoghurts.
Location in quiet and calm area is convenient. Car can left parked in front of the hotel during the night.

The traditional part needs a bit refreshing.
Great feeling of comfortable tradition in the restaurant parts, the hotel part is renovated. Also great that the paintings (probably 18th - 19th century, some a lot older) are exhibited all over the place, adding a touch of authenticity and beauty, we are reminded of the past activities of the place. From practical point of view all mod cons are available,, including lift and it is helpful to have a place to park the car - on the street at the back of the hotel. Very good quality breakfast and dinner.

Great breakfast, great evening meal. The boss's are spending a fortune on a brand new kitchen, so can't wait till stay again and eat in their resturant. As in the name this was an ex-Post and has history showing that.

Because the hotel is in the center of an old town, parking is difficult.
The character of the hotel is great, and its restaurant is top notch. My room was cozy, and I had some of the best sleep I've had in months.

Breakfast (included) was fine. The room was also very comfortable, clean and really well built. The location in the middle of the town was fantastic, I would love to spend a few days there next time and really enjoy that location.

The half door on the shower didn't stay closed so water leaked onto the floor.

The attached restaurant had a great dinner (not included) and the included breakfast was very tasty. the only downside was that the room was quite warm, and the hotel had fans in the room already so it was very bearable.

breakfast was little bit less than we expected, dinner was OK, Smoking in next room was annoying, my sweatshirt smell like I am smoker... Parking place was bit harder to find, but hey, it was already at night :D I heart noise from bathroom of room next to me but that was just problem of morning.
Furniture were great ! much better than I expected, Elevator availability was also much appreciated, If I knew there was sauna, would definitely tried it. Otherwise, receptionist was kind and helpful !

The breakfast was quite poor. Mostly based on croissant with salami / pastries. Somebody had odd idea to put smoking area at entry into hotel. So when you enter, you will start stink instantly.
The room was nice, clean. Bed was ideal for sleeping.

Unfortunately, I am never able to spend several days and see more of the surroundings.
The BEST little hotel close to A3 for those who need to spend the night during a long car trip. The best combo: pet friendly, huge breakfast, always someone there to check you in, nice little town, very nice price.
