Very good location. Nice local restaurant with good atmosphere and service. Good view from balcony.

Very noisy room from kitchen until closing time+again at opening for breakfast and occasionally unknown "banging" throughout the night.

The hotel and our room were lovely, spacious, beautifully decorated and comfortable. The views were great. The owners and the employees were very nice and sociable, even though not everyone was so fluent in English. The owner even let me park my motorcycle in his garage. The food at breakfast and at the restaurant was very good too. The deer in front of the hotel were so cute and the surroundings were beautiful.

I liked everything.

Very lovely end to a long day of mountain biking with the family. The staff were friendly, patient with our German, and flexible (as we needed to rebook), and the rooms were clean and cozy. We had supper in the restaurant and it was the best German food we have had, particularly the Rehe Ragout (venison stew). Very nice buffet breakfast too. Highly recommend!

This place really was exceptional! From check-in to check-out the staff were wonderful. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and had lovely panoramic views of the surrounding hills. Our meal in the restaurant outstanding (the best meal we’ve had on our holiday). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend!

Wonderful Forest location - so peaceful. The room we had with a balcony was really big and tastefully decorated. Comfy bed as well. The food was exceptional.

The staff were very friendly and while we stuggled with the language , they really did their best to communicate with us. It's obviously that they care about their guests. Also the food was fantastic!

The glass door to our bathroom was not our favourite as the toilet is directly behind it!

Staff very accommodating. Arrived after the kitchen closed but staff prepared a nice steak & salad.

Property is on the side of a hill in a small billage in the S. Black Forest. Beautiful scenery in daytime; treacherous road in at night. Roads very narrow.

Cozy hotel in beautiful surroundings. Lovely view from the room. Very friendly owners. Wonderful and varied breakfast.

To be aware: The kitchen in the restaurant closes relatively early for a weekend, however the owners kindly offered to prepare a cold meal in advance for us.
