How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The staff and owners were very friendly and accommodating to my needs. The Hotel is very close to the Nürburgring and has everything you could want on-site. Breakfast was great, and the restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes to enjoy for dinner.

The breakfast buffet is quite basic and sparse in supply, but I gather this is to minimise waste. The curtains for my room were not wide enough to cover the opening meaning a lot of light gets through when it's bright outside
Super convenient location without the noise and hustle of the track which is only 5 minutes away. The proprietors are very pleasant and accommodating and make you feel welcome immediately. There is also plenty of parking front and rear.

Room didn’t have shutters or thick curtains, so got light with the sunrise.
Great restaurant food in evening, nice beer garden and very friendly staff.

The only problem we had was that everything was closed when we arrived at 15.20. Check in was stated as being from 12.00 - 22.00, so it was rather annoying not to be able to get in. The signs on the restaurant said that it was open from 17.00, and that is what happened. But it would be kind (and very easy) to add that check in on Sundays is limited to those times.
It was all very good! Breakfast was great - very fresh food, and nice, friendly staff. Lovely views from the breakfast room. Supper the night before was excellent.

I booked a room at short notice while on a motorcycle tour of the Eifel area. I stayed for 1 night. I was welcomed by the owner who allowed me to park my motorcycle under a shelter instead of the car park at the back of the property. He and his wife were very friendly. I had dinner which was very nice and the breakfast was plentiful. The room was very clean and I slept very well. The Gasthaus is right next to the B258 road which is about 5 minutes from the Nurburgring. I would happily stay there again.

Early closing of the kitchen, we arrived at arround 8 and the restaurant wouldn't serve us anything,we had to drive 24km
Comfortable beds and tidyness, fairly close to the nordschleife track.

We spent 2 good nights at the Gasthouse Weber. Very nice people, friendly and carying, very welcoming, as a big group with 5 children we had specious rooms and nice time in the restaurant. Nice breakfast, everything what you might want was available, everything fresh. Toys for children waas also very nice.

If you leave your window open at night, the occasional car sound from the road might be too loud for you. This only applies for road side rooms.
Breakfast was really good. Simple but fresh products. The views are nice too. Close to the Nürburgring and such.

Everybody was very friendly, they helped me charge my electric car, beds are comfortable, it's a very homey family runned bussines, nothing like corporate hotel chains, which made the experience a lot more personal. Close to the Nürburgring track, the country is just beautiful.

The property is way nicer in person than the pictures. Pictures make the rooms look terrible but in reality it was very decent. Also, heater took a while to warm up but no biggy.
Good parking, nice place to stay. Very friendly staff and has everything you’d need. Value for money was amazing

We stopped at this hotel for a night on our way from Cologne to Munich with a daytime stop at the Nurburgring track. Conveniently located close to the track and was the first hotel we passed by. The owners were very pleasant and helpful, the room was cute with a window facing a beautiful view of a pasture and rolling hills off in the distance. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant which was also very nice.
