Great location close to Monschau and the Eifel National Park. Parking on site, restaurant and bar, dog friendly and wonderful helpful people. Enjoyed our stay and would return!

The room was OK. Unfortunately, there were problems with the water heating, so we could not take a shower. However, the owner/manager was kind enough and did his best to fix the problem. As it was not possible, they gave us a partial refund for our stay. Breakfast was included and really good. Everything fresh with enough variety The hotel is not withing walking distance to the city centre. Luckily we found free parking close to the castle and walked from there to the city center.

We had no microwave in the house. Also, the socket (in my own bedroom) was right behind the bed, so you have to move the bed a little bit to charge your phone if you want your phone next to you or choose another socket. Only a minor issue and might not be the case in other bedrooms. At the end, it was a very pleasant stay!

Very beautiful, spacious and clean house. The house is perfect! Very friendly staff too. Nice that you can park your car right in front of the house. Also, we had two bathrooms. Really comfortable!

The people renting the ground floor of the house were pretty loud at night, disturbing the peace and quite a little. Shower didn't have warm water anymore after just one person had a 15-20 minute shower in the morning. Currently they are renovating or doing some works, so the house is surrounded by scaffolding.

Beautiful, rural, and peaceful location. Spacious (we had the 1st floor for a family of 5 which was perfect) and clean.

Last overnight stop over for our tour. The room was quiet, clean and had a coffee machine. Beds were comfortable and the shower good. We've stayed in the area numerous times (in other hotels/guest houses) and this one is as good as any of the others we've been in. It's a nice location for "nipping across the border" into Eupen to pick up the motorway and for any motorsport enthusiasts, about an hour from the Nurburgring (down the B258) and 40 minutes or so from Spa (via some nice twisty roads). Breakfast was good and check in/out easy. Big car park at the front and although we didn't try the restaurant in the evening, it's likely to be fine if the breakfast was anything to go by.

Room was a good size and was very clean, with excellent shower. We enjoyed our included "Reich-haltiges Fruhstuck" i.e breakfast. The location is a few Km outside Monschau but it was a pleasant drive in to walk round the town and a lovely place to relax outside it.

Cosy room in a "Gasthaus". Perfect for families, as it has a separate room with bunk bed, perfect for the kids! The hotel has a restaurant that you can use for dinner. Nice German breakfast ;)

We went in everywhere we could, to try and find out where the keys were. There was no one behind the reception desk, then we asked at the restaurant. The beds were pretty basic and uncomfortable. The bedside touch lamp, becomes very hot to touch, these should be replaced. Breakfast was at the restaurant next door, with plenty of steps, I have recently had a knee replacement, walking stairs was very difficult. No one can speak English, or understand our Dutch, this was very surprising.

The bunk beds were'nt the best and we thought we'll be closer to Monschau.

Just on top of Monschau, big comfy room, the food is good and the portion huge. It was pretty quiet to sleep even if the road is just close by. We had a nice and secure place to leave our bikes. Marc and his team were kind enought to send me back thru mail some gear that I had forgotten, very nice from him!

Hot water did not work in the morning when we needed to shower. Traveling with daughter who uses a walker, and even though she can do stairs, it was difficult - the stairs are metal, to a balcony - and there was a lot of snow. The short path from the top of the stairs to the entry door was piled with snow. We were also not aware that the apartment was about 3kms from the main Gasthaus - and breakfast. Internet did not work.
