Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GermanyOnly downside, I would say it was not having a kettle and a microwave in the room. Since we had a 2 years old, I had to constantly has the staff at the restaurant to warm the milk or heat the food. (But it was not a problem as staff were really polite)
Breakfast had varieties. Rooms were cozy and big. location was also really good, friendly staff.

United KingdomWe saw other guests being offered luggage transfer to their room which wasn't offered to us. We were a family with many bags, so this would have been appreciated had it been offered. There was a fridge in our room but no kettle.
The hotel caters really well for families. The garden area with a playground next to the restaurant was a real bonus. The setting is beautiful, however be prepared to carry your luggage uphill from your car. The pool was lovely but it was disappointing to have to pay for tennis courts as an extra charge. Breakfast was brilliant with loads of choice. There are also a couple of electric chargers in the car park which was extremely handy for us.

United KingdomNo air conditioning in the room in a hot summer. Small dislike for the fact that we could not buy some products exposed as the door to access them would not open/key malfunction.
Welcoming and helping staff (all of them), very good food, good location, spacious room with everything you need, clean, pool water was warm and clean. I wish we could stay more.

IcelandThat check-in time is only at 16:30 and we didn´t even get our room until at 17:00 with little information or updating from the reception. Hotel seems a little bit worn out.
It´s a nice hotel with good breakfast and spa, swimpool and sauna area. Also it´s good to be little bit outside downtown area.

GermanyI cannot recommend due to several significant drawbacks that made the experience frustrating and uncomfortable. 1 - Uncomfortable Layout and Inconvenient Design One of the biggest issues with the hotel is its overall layout. The complex consists of multiple small buildings spread across a hilly area, making it feel more like a maze than a coherent hotel. For basic amenities like breakfast or the swimming pool, you’re forced to go outside - navigating up and down uneven paths and stairs. Getting to breakfast in the morning requires leaving your building entirely, and reaching the pool is even worse. The swimming pool is located in a completely separate building. You can either take a long underground corridor that feels like a labyrinth, or walk outside for 10 minutes - which is far from ideal if you just want a quick dip and return to your room. In both cases, it’s a hassle, especially with children or in bad weather. 2 - Severely Outdated Rooms While the rooms were spacious - especially helpful for our family with three kids and a dog - the interior left much to be desired. It was clear that the rooms had not been renovated in decades. The furniture, decor, and bathroom fixtures were all outdated and tired-looking. Everything was clean, but the worn-out condition of the amenities made it feel uncomfortable and definitely not worth the price. For what we paid, I would have expected a more modern and welcoming environment.
To be fair, there were two aspects of the hotel that stood out in a positive way: 1 - Room Size: The apartment-style room was spacious with three separate sleeping areas and two toilets - very convenient for a large family. 2 - Breakfast: The breakfast was genuinely good with a nice variety of options and decent quality food.

SwedenExcellent facilities. We arrived at the property a little earlier than check-in time. Even though we couldn't get the room early, the hotel had all the facilities needed like showers, changing rooms, locker rooms etc. While booking it shows only one room, but actually it had 2 rooms, living room and a bedroom. The property has all the things you can need. The location is also good, there's a bus stop very close to the hotel.

LatviaWe didn't really like that the parking cost €15.
My first impression was like stepping into the 1980s — it instantly reminded me of the movie Dirty Dancing. The atmosphere was warm and nostalgic. It's a very child-friendly and welcoming place. I especially loved that you can grab a beer and relax right next to the playground. 😊
