The doors were not soundproof. It is considered that you rented a room in an apartment or house, and bathrooms are shared with other rooms.The price is too high for the value of the services.

Very nice house with a beautiful garden. Comfortable bedroom and clean rooms. The landlady was very helpful and kind. I was there for just one day and one night, but I felt very comfortable. I higly recommend

Parking spots are few and it depends on luck, the beds are worn out and not comfortable 😕.

Close to the Alsterdorfet U-bahn station, easy to get to midtown. Breakfast was good 😊!

I'd recommend taking measures to amplify the wifi signal (there was almost no signal in my room and I had to use my own mobile data). I had the intention to cook some food in the kitchen, but then I gave up, because I couldn't find cooking essentials like oil and spices. The price was a bit high for me (mainly because booking initially showed one price and then charged me a lot more), but then it was justified by the lovely welcome and the pleasant stay.

I was welcomed very kindly and also was allowed to do an early check-in. The room was super clean and warm (that was very important in December) and there were little details that significantly increased the comfort like the warm house-robes. The bathrooms, even though - shared, were sparkling clean.

Unfortunately because the house is a little bit older the doors of the rooms were not that noice cancelling. You can hear the people walk by and using the staircase which is also quite noisy due to the wood of which it is built of. Other than that it was a little bit inconvenient that the towels in the shared bathrooms were not washed on a daily base even though it seemed like that the towels were meant for single use.

The owner of this place was very kind and friendly. The room itself had everything of which was described and despite the fact that the street is nearby it was not noisy at all. The location of the house is really good because a train station and also a bus stop is really close.

Very clean and comfortable room. Even though the bathroom is shared it is also very clean and we never had an issue with having to wait for other guests. Free parking in front of the building was also very never. It is a 1 minute walk to the subway station from where you can go straight into town in just 20 minutes or so.

Rooms and toilets were clean. Just the kitchen could have been cleaner. It was quite cold in our room.

Sadly I asked the property when I booked if it was ok to check in later on (11pm) - they did not respond to my message (3 months before stay) but confirmed the booking which I took as confirmation. The day of check in - around 6pm - I received a message from the property saying they wouldn't be able to let me in. We worked it all out and they arrived at the property to let me in - but it was frustrating as I had asked the question and the response came so late. That being said we worked it out so it wasn't an issue in the end

I recently had the pleasure of staying in an old but wonderfully charming apartment that offered a delightful mix of nostalgia and modern comforts. This unique space provided an exceptional stay for several reasons. First and foremost, the location of this apartment was absolutely unbeatable. The proximity to both the U-Bahn station and bus stand, a mere 2-3 minutes walk away, makes exploring the city incredibly convenient. Even more impressively, the quick and hassle-free 25-minute journey to the airport from the house was a huge advantage, especially for travellers catching flights. One standout feature of the apartment was the thoughtful inclusion of a humidifier. Given that it's located in the basement, this amenity made a world of difference in ensuring a comfortable and refreshing atmosphere. It's the kind of attention to detail that sets this place apart from others and makes it evident that the hosts genuinely care about their guests' well-being. Additionally, the presence of nearby grocery stores was a significant convenience. It allowed for easy access to essentials, making it simple to stock up on supplies and cook in the well-equipped kitchen. The combination of modern amenities in this older apartment made it a comfortable and practical place to stay While the apartment's age might have shown in some areas, it added to its charm and character. The classic architectural details and cozy ambiance lent a unique atmosphere that you won't find in more modern accommodations. It felt like staying in a piece of the city's history. In conclusion, my stay in this old but nice apartment was a delightful experience. Its fantastic location, with quick access to transportation hubs and grocery stores, was a major plus. The presence of a humidifier in the basement, along with the apartment's unique charm, made it a memorable stay.

There was no heating in the flat. I know it was summer but coming from Hungary where there was around 35 to Hamburg with 17-20 C, a small heat blower would have helped a lot. The wifi is a bit weak.

The flat is situated in a good district of Hamburg, in a garden house district, very close to the U bahn. You can park in front of the house for free. The apartment flat is well equipped. Two bedrooms and a living room with small kitchen plus bathroom.
