Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

DenmarkNothing to mention. The only thing, which is not really negative, but we had slight trouble was that not all the staff speaks good English and we were not good at German, but it was manageable
The cute family run hotel is located in a small town and makes a perfect setting for a relaxing trip in the Black Forest. The rooms are so big and spacious and gives lot of comfort. There is enough room for relaxing placing the luggage and lots of storage space. The property has free parking

IndiaCheck in process took 30 mints or so . They called us 3 times separately to the reception for checking confirmation no, for collecting passport copy, paying for city tax. Also they gave us the breakfast table in the corridor while lot of breakfast table were available in the main seating area ( felt bit racist behavior) .
Room were very spacious and super clean.

SpainThe bedroom seemed a little dated. Shared terrace with smokers which was unfortunate for us as the smoke drifted into our bedroom.
A traditional, lovely hotel. Very helpful staff on the whole. Breakfast was plentiful, lots of choice. Dinner was very well cooked and presented.

BelgiumWe were in a separate building, so for going to reception, we had to cross outdoors. Luckily when we visited, the weather was nice, but it could be a lot worse in raining conditions.
For a 3-star hotel, the breakfast was very elaborate in choice. Although we booked for bed&breakfast, choice was offered to have dinner also, on a day-per-day basis. The room was convenient, although somewhat outdated. WiFi was OK. Also, the shower was very decent, and quite recent, knowing that the building itself was from the 70's.

GermanyThe SPA worked only from 15 till 18. I didn't see it when I booked. We wanted to go there in the evening when we arrived but it was already closed. For me it would be more comfortable to go there in the evening after dinner to have more time for hiking but probably for other people this time is more comfortable. Anyway I enjoyed this SPA next days, just didn't expect that it will be working only for 3 hours every day.
Very beautiful hotel in some small cute village. There are a lot of different hiking routes near the hotel. The stuff is professional, polite and would do everything that you feel comfortable. The food was delicious, they really know how to cook everything. The SPA zone was new, modern and beautiful. I'd be happy to come back there again.

North MacedoniaEverything was great
We booked 2 rooms in the hotel. Both were in different buildings. The one in the main buildidng where the receptions is was in a better condition then the one in the upper building. I may say it was a newer one, with better bathroom. Overall, it was a very good stay. The breakfast was perfect. The hotel gives very cute and cozy vibe. We were in the summer and it was very cute that it gave cozy winterly vibe. The stuff wefe great.

PolandThe receptionist was not so friendly and not inclusive. He didn't want to accept the Revolut card and said that if we pay with this card, we will be charged 2% more. I insited on trying to check if the card works, and he didn't even try. He didn't understand that the Revolut is a card acceptable across the world, and we had to ultimately translate everything into German, because he was not willing to listen me explaining him things in English. In the end, the card of course worked, and we were not charged anything extra, but it took our energy to explain everything... It was disappointing that the sauna was only open between 3-6 pm, which was not clearly stated on Booking. Comment from the receptionist: "Our guests hike in the morning, then use sauna around 4pm, and then book a table for a dinner". Well, I was also your guest, and my vacation schedule was a bit different... I really wish I didn't hear such comments from the stuff. We will not be back there.
The hotel was very clean. The dining area was traditional and old-school, which was very charming and allowed for a truly german experience. In the restaurant, there is a variety of local wine. Waiters were friendly and polite, willing to help.

BelgiumAfter booking this hotel and seeing that it’s pet friendly, I booked not expecting that the cost per night for my small sized four legged companion would be 18 euro! Upon payment of my invoice, at the hotel, and being made aware of the cost, the price was not negotiable. I was absolutely shocked. Never heard of such a price. If I had known beforehand, I would have never booked with them. This made my stay very underwhelming. Will not make another reservation with them or with the Flair chain of hotels. My conclusion, not a very “Pet friendly” hotel.
