clean nice but during night time crazy marder (as stadf called what animal) was running on roof under floor and to sleep from 3/4 a.m are really hard alot of noices

Nothing of consequence

Along the bike trail from Regensburg to Bamberg and easily accessible . Very good bike inside storage . Reception friendly . Lift to upper floors. Our room #45 on the first floor was very nice, clean and quite large . Great little patio with small table and chairs overlooking the lush back yard and small bubbling stream . Sitting area in the room was also nice . Really good lighting in room . Obviously this is an old building but it has modern fixtures throughout. Bathroom very clean with great water pressure to the shower . On-site restaurant has limited menu but great ambiance . The food choices were good and the price point was also very reasonable. Breakfast was certainly not spectacular but more than adequate with some hot food choices.

There was nothing we didn't like

A complete gem of a hotel with great sauna and pool. We were so well looked after, the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. A fussy teenager who will barely eat anything? 'No problem, let me ask what the chef can do.' So kind! Our room was allocated to us perfectly so we could easily take our dog for a walk at 4.30am without having to walk through the hotel. Hugely grateful for the thoughtfulness.

Breakfast poor - poor choice, unreplenished food - in this price range unacceptable. Restaurant occupied by a wedding - as it is a small village you cannot dine elsewhere.

This comment applies to the room which was really inexpensive so we were aware it could be basic. It was pretty much old condition (painting, bed mattress, electricity, bathroom was not very clean (mostly the toilet and the shower head) The hotel is renovating so maybe this room will be renovated in the future as well.

The room was quite big and the view on the field was nice. Also we were few visitors, the breakfast was quite diverse and good. The restaurant was very good, service was impeccable.

Very dated. Decor at least 30 years old. No hot drink facilities in the room but we could press our trousers. Worms in toilet??? Curtains did not block out the light. There were shutters but we couldn’t pull those down either. Very poor basic breakfast for Germany. Hugely disappointing. Massive opportunity to renovate this property. If done well, the location is very good and I’m sure you would have great success.

Easy to find and a quiet location to stay. Powerful shower. Bed was very comfortable.

We got the suite room but it was with very dated decoration and felt un fresh. There were many features in the room that were very dangerous for adults and for children. With a bit of elegant touch, the room could look fabulous.

There is absolutely nothing I can say negative.

Absolutely amazing stay - great service, polite staff, we really enjoyed buffet dinners - chef and his team are doing a great job. Great variety of meat, fish, vegetarian meals and drinks. Very kids friendly property - many nice people, warm swimming pool and big comfortable sauna with a lot of fresh towels. Big garden - enough space for everyone to have some privacy.
