The ceilings and consequently door frames are unusually low. I'm 183 cm high and was costantly bumping with my head against the door frame when leaving the kitchen. If you are over 185 cm you will probably have problems with all door frames. This is just meant as a word of caution and not a complaint but it's good to know if you are tall. Also, the garage height limit is 190 cm and the parking space is very narrow (with walls on both sides), so it will be problematic if you have a big car.

Excellent host, superb location in the town center and 10 minutes from the railway station, also just minutes away from grocery shops. The apartment is great, domestic cosy feeling, fully equipped with everything one could possibly need. Comfortable beds. Functional kitchen. Underground garage included in the price. Highly recommend.

The location was right in town, perfectly situated. The rooms were comfortable, huge, great shower, great kitchen (we even got to cook a few meals!). It was perfect in every way. The host even helped us when we needed a medicine cup for our kid's medicine.

The parking garage is too small. I checked it out when I arrived but there was no way I could risk damage to my rental car in such a tight space. Ended up paying extra to park outside.

Perfect place to stay while visiting Gengenbach. Right in the middle of the town, so easy to walk everywhere. Easy to check in with the lock box code and grab the keys. The space is clean and has a nice little patio to sit outside. The village is very beautiful, plenty of things to check out, and is close to many hiking trails in the Black Forest.

Description of the entrance of the apartment could have been much clearer to avoid dragging many suitcases along stairs of the back entrance.

Nothing much. Just be careful about parking in the private garage. It will test your driving skills.

The hostess is very kind. We reached late - 11 pm - but she helped us check in. The ground floor appartment meant that our heavy luggage was not a problem. The location of the apartment is very good and quite central. Train station is 10 minutes away. Private parking is also available.

Everything was perfect, to the smallest detail. We were 10 friends, occupying both apartments. Location central and close to everything. Host was available for information at all times. Gengenbach perfect for the Black Forest experience. Will stay again.

Nothing about the place itself. We had an amazing holiday. If I would change something, it would be a change in accomodation mid-holiday (we spent 10 days there), but this would be due to the long driving distances to the places we visited and not due to any problems with this apartment.

The apartment was big enough for a family of 5 and had all the facilities one might need. Basic food stuff like oil, sugar, coffee etc were also available which was a plus. It was also very clean and right in the center of Gengenbach. Parking was also available in a garage just down the road. It might be tricky to find it at first but Ann-Katrin was very helpful and not only answered me immediately but also sent her daughter to meet us and show us where it was. A few minutes by walk to restaurants, bakery etc.

Very minor. A fan would be nice to have. the weather was 28degrees when we were there and very little wind so the apartment was a little warm- not unbearable though. A fan would have helped circulate air around the rooms making it feel cooler.

The central location was great. The addition of a 'free' travel card meant that we could leave our car parked all of our stay. it is an excellent base tii visit the area as the train and bus connections are good and the number of restarants gives you a wide choice of meals out. the kitchen facilites were good (the knives were sharp whichisn't usual LOL)

2 bedeooms very comfortable apartment in the hearth of the historic old town. Propably one of the most beautifull small towns in Germany especially christmas time. Apartment offered everything we needed, very comfy beds, great sofa in the living room, fully equipped kitchen. Super warm apartment so no worries about cold night during winter time. 1 min walk to the town center. The only minus was car parking located 1 min from apartment in underground multi story car parking that was impossible to find ( even google didn't manage to find it) my advice is simple: drive to main street and take turn into a small street oposite SPARKASSE and follow that small road between buildings until you find gate to underground car park on your right. Rulantica and Europa park only 35 min drive. Fully recomended
