Very relaxing and healthy spot in the Black Forest

The room could be slightly modernized (carpet/furniture/TV), it's a very minor point though.

Very friendly staff, nice spa area, the location is very good in the heart of the black Forest, check-in/check-out very efficient, the breakfast is more than sufficient, we did not try the dinner though. The balcony of the room is big and very pleasant in the evening. Very quiet area. Very important, you can rent a e-bike (mountain bike) at the reception which allows you to discover quickly the area - we did it and were very happy with it.

This was our last hotel after 3 days of hiking and it was a delight to recover. Lovely wellness, very friendly staff, beautiful hotel and delicious food! Really enjoyed our stay here!

It became incredibly hot in the room, it was 25 degrees and the room couldn’t cool down to a comfortable level. Also, we found it slightly expensive for the type of room you get

everything was more than excellent ! I liked everything and here is my list: 1- location: you disconnect in the middle of the nature 2- breakfast: variety and lots of choices-excellent 3- bed: comfortable 4-cleanliness: perfect 5- Facilities and spa: great, clean and easy to access. you can access until 10 pm which is amazing for people who arived late like us. I advice you to not miss the massage 6-staff: great and friendly, they offered us a cake because it was the birthday of my partner, they lit a candle and wrote him a beautfiul paper. Small gests like those made his day more special ! thank you ! 7-value money: very good deal for what you get and the quality of the stay

We were not aware of the mandatory nakedness (textile free zones) in the spa areas (sauna, steam bath).

The location was really nice, it was quiet and the food was very good.

Spa closed until late on monday morning, so we couldn’t use the spa before to leave.

Nothing! It couldn't have been better!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Every aspect was beyond our expectations: the room, the cleanliness, the comfort, the amazing staff, the food (every course of every dinner was outstanding, not to mention the gracious friendly service - amazing delicious breakfast buffet), the pool and saunas, and finally the perfect location. Not only is it rural and quiet, and not only can you hike all over the place right from the hotel, but public transport by bus and train is so easy and convenient. It's an easy bus-to- train commute to Freiburg. Plus the hotel gives you a free pass to use on public busses and trains. The service is top-notch yet at the same time this resort is so unpretentious. Very relaxed and easy going. We had a great vacation here and we will be back!

The spa is amazing and stays open late! The staff was so accommodating and friendly. I even made friends with other solo travelers. The room was very nice. Walking distance to the small town and walking or short drive to many fun hikes. Food looked and tasted great. They even slipped me a little extra wine which was very nice 😃😃 10/10 recommend this place!
