Unable to park the bike beside the hotel , had to use the ferry and carry all our biking gear and luggage over , so probably would not have booked it , it’s a pity 😢

The views from the room and balcony are great. The breakfast was very tasty. For dinner they have fish, meat and vegetarian options. The swimming pool is small, but while we were there it was never crowded. The person in charge of the hotel that weekend was very friendly.

The pool water was very cold, so we only tried it once. I'm normally ok with colder water, but not only was the pool very, very small, the water was really chilly.

Our room faced the river and the ferry, so we spent ages on the balcony with cups of coffee, just watching life on the river. The hotel is right at the entrance to the national park, lots of hike routes start here and we were able to make the most of the balmy autumn weather and stunning woods. Breakfast and dinner were plentiful and delicious. We will be back, as there's still lots to see and lots to do in this area.

The balcony was illuminated long into the night, it automatically turned off (I couldn't find the switch) so you don't have an unobstructed view of the night and the starry sky, pity.

Hotel in a great location overlooking the Elbe river and rocks, accessible only by ferry. Room superbly furnished and comfortable, with welcome wine and online check-in. You have to book online also a seat at the breakfast/dinner table, but all works fine. Spacious wellness area, bathrobes and towels available in the room. Beginning of the hiking trails. Great for active relax. Mostly Czech staff.

The mattresses very already quite used, so the sleep comfort wasn’t the best. The food for the dinner could be much better - we decided to eat elsewhere after the first night.

The room was very nice and clean. The shower was large and there was a lot of space to place your stuff in the bathroom - not very frequent these days. The ferry is free for hotel guest as well as the parking on the other bank of the Elbe river.

Slightly understaffed. Most of them didn't seem to speak German or English - communication difficult Rooms were not cleaned until after stay. WiFi did not work.

Dinner included on half- board I could have done without; a mediocre buffet. Also breakfast no more than OK. Real check-in was one hour later than stated in the Booking confirmation.

Large and comfortable room with an exquisite view. Completely digitalized hotel with self check-in, except for restaurant staff, no humans visible, but everything worked without a glitsch.

The two room suite was not ideal, as the rooms were only spearated by see through glass, and you have to walk through one of the bedrooms to access the bathrooms from the other bedroom. This did not make for much privacy.

The breakfast and dinner were delicous, with amazing views of the river from the dining room. The location was fantastic with eeasy access to hiking and climbing.

Having to book the exact time for dinner and breakfast caused unnecessary pressure, particularly because there was plenty of flexibility during our stay. On the day of our arrival, we got there relatively late and wanted to hike to the Bastion to watch the sunset. We barely made it back on time for our dinner slot and were quite exhausted. It was not necessary to run as the room was only half full.

The location is absolutely marvelous. It's right in front of the river and the ferry stop. You can start your hikes to the bastion right from the hotel 0 either the longer or shorter hikes. The terrace is facing the river is a great place to spend some idle time. You get unlimited trips in the ferry with the "Guest Card". On the opposite side of the river, there is a parking place where you can leave your car for free (the hotel will give you a free parking ticket). The parking place has an electric charging station in case you drive electric. I left it charging overnight without any additional surcharges.

Everything was completely automated and we could not find anyone to ask a question. Could only access the online digital assistant. It worked out ok but felt very impersonal.

The stay includes breakfast and dinner. However, the food selection is subpar. Dinner is advertised as a 2 course meal, however in reality it is a buffet with a very limited selection. And quite frankly the food is neither good nor fresh. Same for the breakfast. Bread is stale and the food overall is not fresh. Reg. service: All services are online only (also the check in) - there is no staff available for questions etc. Overall not a big deal, however subpar for the paid price.

The rooms are modern and well kept. The Spa and amenities are also in good shape and pleasant to use. Overall the place is very clean. Location is great - Hikes like the Bastei Bridge Hike can be started directly from the hotel - no car needed.
