Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe pillows were very thin, overly soft and quite uncomfortable. The towels were quite old, small and rough. The mattress was quite firm, and combined with the pillows meant I did not sleep well. There is also no air-conditioning, which meant needing to have the balcony door open and so the sound from outside was a little intrusive. The lack of facilities for food or drink in the hotel itself were lacking, although the Congress hotel nearby (where breakfast is served) was better appointed and had facilities for food and drink (the burger there is brilliant). It was a good place to stay, but the Congress hotel is much nicer.
The location was perfect, the parking was good and the overall hotel was in good condition. The staff were helpful, although not as welcoming or cheerful as I might have hoped. I liked the Motorsport themed decor and the room had nice coffee and snacks. The balcony was nice with a good view. It was nice to have complimentary slippers too. Reception area was pleasant and it was good value for money. Breakfast was really nice, but not in the same building. What stood out as a real highlight was that the location is walking distance from several restaurants, the Grand Prix Strecke, the Nordschleife and the lovely village of Nurburg itself. Parking was good, although it cost €20 per day (in 2025).

AustraliaCheck-in was a little confusing as it requires you to travel to the linked conference hotel diagonally opposite. Other than that, the only other note is that not all rooms are airconditioned. This wasn't a significant issue (even in the middle of summer), but is worth noting.
Staff were lovely, parking was easy and breakfast was fantastic.

United KingdomThe fitness and wellbeing services offered via the Congress building were great overall but not attended to regularly. The water dispensers were regularly out of water making it unsafe and difficult to use the sauna, steam and gym facilities especially in the summer. The location is very loud. Many cars driving by fast regularly and it is located right near the GP circuit which is also very loud. This is not necessarily a negative depending on if you enjoy the sounds of so many different cars. However I think it is worth mentioning as it could be an issue for many and interpret people's sleep. Not having air conditioning can be difficult however it was not advertised with ac so no issues with that. There were no English channels on the tv.
The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were helpful. Having access to the Congress building for breakfast, fitness and wellbeing services was excellent.

United KingdomThe heat in the room! Also having to walk to the partner hotel to: a) check in b) have breakfast and c) check out.
Decent size of room, in very good condition and clean. Unfortunately no air conditioning which was a problem as outside temperatures were 30+C.

United Kingdom€20 to park. The breakfast and reception are in the conference hotel building which is a few mins walk across the busy road.
Great room, modern and clean. Right next to the Nurburgring. There is paid parking right in front of the hotel (€20/night) or free parking 2mins behind it. The breakfast is excellent with plenty of choice and all fresh and tasty.

United KingdomThe bathroom sink only gave hot water regardless of which way you turned the tap. Cover for bath plug operator switch kept falling off into the bath while I was in it. Shower temperature kept fluctuating when my husband was in it. Not as nice as the room we had last year. Toilet was in a tiny room within the room
Breakfast had lots of options and we were put in the congress hotel as it was out of season which is nicer than the one we had booked

United KingdomMy suite was incredible, on the fifth floor with an amazing view over the Nurburg landscape. The room is enormous and very well laid out - with everything you need or could ask for. Great coffee machine with nice touch like more milk sachets than you would normally get. The bed and pillows were dreamy and the room kept the perfect temperature by the whisper quiet air con. Being a very hot day (30+) the staff had gone to the effort of closing the curtains and keep the AC going before I went to my room so I arrived to a lovely cool environment after being scorched all day in the sun and by the track.
