We booked a quadruple room with 1 large bed and 2 single beds, but we got a room with a large bed and a sofa bed, which could not accommodate 2 people. Since this did not meet our needs, the hotel gave us a separate single room in addition.

The mattress was great, but the pillows were flat and the blankets very hot. Early in the morning, the cleaning lady came into the room which came as a surprise, she did apologize before she quickly left, though.

We called to check in late at night because we were delayed, this was no problem. Also, we requested a room with a smart tv and this was no problem at all. The breakfast was nice and the staff very friendly. Very good value as well.

The breakfast time slot was a bit to short, especially when travelling with children.

The vibe of the hotel was very cool, it felt like on holidays on a island near the beach. Something about the decoration and the overall feeling of this place puts you in a good mood. The breakfast was very good and plenty.

There is no lift, so with heavy luggage's it's little complicated to the family room.

The building was like antique, my daughter liked the piano on the hallway.

Rooms are bit outdated, especially bathroom, with rusty parts and shower heads full of calc. Second time we stayed our bathroom smelled like a sewer. First time it was fine though. Beds are uncomfortable, especially the "third" bed in a triple room. Bedsheets had a hole. So yeah, the rooms needs some loving from the owners :)

Breakfast is nice, plenty to eat. Convenient location with easy walk to the City Center, convenient parking, nobody frowns about the dogs. It's nice that they keep family traditions and there are family photos in the hotel, that makes it charming.

We got baby cot and no mattress for it! Instead of a mattress they used duvet and wrapped that into sheets. And then we realised that the bottom of the cot was broken, so we couldn't use it anyway. The fridge was not working also. In the bathroom there is no place to hang the towel or anything.

The lady that checked us in was not very friendly. She informed me there was no lift and then directed me to my room. Granted I should have listened more carefully however when she saw me dragging my luggage in the wrong direction she did not correct me. It was sort of disconcerting. We had two rooms and one smelled strongly of smoke. The lady that checked us in was so intimidating that I didn't bother to ask if we could be moved.

We were flying out of MUN the next day and wanted to hit the outlet mall prior to our flight. The location was great and parking was also great. Family run business and the family were incredibly nice and friendly.
