Some unfriendly staff and lack of amenities. Additionally, there was no proper luggage storage arrangement after check out, as we were just asked to leave our bags beside the main entrance without any secured handling in place.

The location is good as it is close to major attractions. Our room had a beautiful river view.

Check in process was strange, without anyone at a front desk at 8pm and only up to 2pm.

The spacious room with functional shelves and close to the cathedral and the station.

The check-in process was a bit unusual. No one at the desk. They email a code for a lockbox on the side of the building. It worked fine, but it was a little worrisome until we figured it out.

Small hotel very near the Cologne cathedral and overlooking the Rhine. Lot's of nearby restaurants. There's a place to park briefly to unload suitcases and two parking garages within a half block.

The location is this property is excellent. Very close to many restaurants, the Cathedral and bridges.

Visited during a heatwave so missed air con plus a mini fridge would have been useful but there was cold drinking water from the taps.

Breakfast included cooked on request plus usuals : cereals, toast, yogurt, fruit, cold meats and salmon plus cheeses and salads. We paid for a room with view of the Rhine, worth it. Lift worked very well.

Future gusets should note that the street was quite noisy for most of the night. Early hours by people going home after their night out and from 5h00 onwards public services and contractors with noisy equipment arriving for work. Our room was 2nd floor overlooking the street - perhaps it is quieter at the rear.

The key box entry system was excellent. Note for other users the key opens the double doors immediately to the left.

Loud street noise starting at 05:00! Not the hotel’s fault but if it’s warm and you need to sleep with the windows open, you might be woken up really early. No fan. If it had been any hotter that day sleeping would have been uncomfortable. No receptionist after 14:00, but automated check in was easy.

Great location. Bed was comfortable, bathroom nice. Staff helpful at checkout.

We found it uncomfortable without air conditioning. A fan was provided.

Location was perfect. Walking distance to all sights. Good breakfast provided. Welcoming staff. Clean apartment and facilities.. beds were comfortable. Lovely to be on the river with a great outlook to wake up to each morning. Lift was wonderful to have as not common.

Reception closes at 2pm and after that you need a code to retrieve your key. Shampoo provided but no conditioner. Water not provided at breakfast unless you ask and then you get a small glass.

The property needs to install an AC or at least provide a fan for guests in summer. It was horribly hot inside the room.

I couldn’t get the Nespresso machine to work, even after I watched a YouTube tutorial. Also the floor lamp didn’t work.

The location was GREAT. Close to the Hbf train station and just close to everything! Rooms and bathrooms are a bit small, but typical for Europe. Shower stall is quite small. We are smaller people so it wasn’t a problem. The bed was very comfortable, a nice soft but firm mattress. Staff was very nice and helpful. Some rooms have windows facing the Meuse River. We left before breakfast was open, so we can’t comment on that.

The shower was tiny and there was some noise from the restaurants late into the night. It didn’t bother us, but if you’re sensitive to noise you’ll want to take this into consideration

When we sat outside in the Sun and had a beer one particular waiter took offence that I didn’t tip him and overcharged and gave me the wrong change also he was very rude, nobody told us you have to spend 20 euros before they accept a debit or credit card.

Very Central to the Cathedral and town, it overlooks the River and good place to people watch.

The self-check in worked smoothly but felt a little impersonal. A fully staffed front desk would have created a friendlier impression.

Great location near the Dom and close to the riverside. Plenty of restaurants nearby and the hotel's own Italian restaurant was very decent.
