Only gripe was the pillows were too flat. Could have done with another pillow but the bed itself is really comfy.

Great accommodation, quirky and modern. Excellent breakfast, lovely staff, comfy beds, great view of the mountains, easy booking and good information from host before arrival. Would highly recommend

Quiet, peaceful, still just a stone’s throw away from the centre. We specifically liked the common area, or living room, where the breakfast was served. Great value, at least on weekdays.

A Big shoutout to Host Klaus. He takes care of guests' need and comfort excellently. The stay is located In a lovely location, giving the guests spectacular sight of mountains and nature landscape around. Mr. Klaus's dog is an added bonus for the guests during the stay. We were spoilt with a wide variety of choices for breakfast, which was delicious. Mr. Klaus is also kind enough to help the guests, plan their vacation by providing suggestions about activities, highlights of the place and restaurants to go-to. We had a wonderful time at Drachenfels stay and I highly recommend it for other travellers who are coming to Oberstdorf, Germany Thank you Mr. Klaus

The Hotel is very cozy, quet and charming. Situated not far from train station and Nebehornbahn (just 15min by foot). Breakfast was wonderful, tee and coffee are available for free during all the day. We have really enjoyed with 2 nights spent here.

We(me and my bf) had the pleasure of staying at Drachenfels Guesthouse for the second time, and we were once again delighted by our experience. This place has a charming and warm atmosphere, thanks to its tasteful use of wood, handmade furniture, and delightful decorations. The cute Christmas decorations added an extra home-like feeling. Our room was well furnished, featuring a comfortable bed and a bathroom. Additionally, the kitchen and living room provided a perfect space to unwind with a cup of herbal tea after a long day of skiing or exploring. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible breakfast. The selection was great, offering a variety of delicious options such as cheese, wurst, vegetables, eggs, juice, coffee, and musli. Each morning, we thoroughly enjoyed starting our day with this breakfast. The staff at Drachenfels Guesthouse were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The check-in process was quick, and their assistance throughout our stay was greatly appreciated. The location is near the bus station and within walking distance of various restaurants, cafes, and shops, making it even more convenient for us as we arrived by train. Based on our wonderful experience, I can say that Drachenfels Guesthouse will be our top choice for our next ski vacation. We highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The feather duvets are nice , but too hot in the summer, makes for a sweaty and sweltering night A small fridge in the bedrooms would be great, cause it was warm and we had cheese and meat and beers to keep cold and it was hard to keep it fresh

the breakfast was very nice, lots of variety to choose from. very friendly staff in the kitchen in the morning, to help with our breakfast , making a perfect boiled egg for us very cute glass jars and carry trays

One of the best breakfasts. Everything tasty. Self service with eggs cooked to order. Very friendly staff. Host did his best to meet all requests . Free bus pass. Free chilled water. Cleaned to high standard. Would definitely return.

Nothing not to like.

Wonderful stay in a wonderful guesthouse. Communication was excellent, especially with Klaus, who was always super helpful. Rooms were clean and homey. Beds comfortable. Breakfast was yummy & plentiful. Great lounging space. An excellent place from which to launch the rest of our holiday.
