A beautifully renovated old-town apartment with stylish refurbished furniture and original artwork – even more stunning than in the photos. Despite the central location, it’s very quiet and peaceful. Everything was spotlessly clean. The location is absolutely perfect, and the staff was incredibly friendly. Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night this time, but we’ll definitely be back for a longer stay.

What a beautiful apartment in the heart of the town. Surrounded by cafes and bars and walking distance to all the amazing sites. We would recommend highly to anyone who want a perfect base in Regensburg.

We had an exceptional stay at Domresidenz in Regensburg. We (me and a colleague) stayed in the apartment for one week for a conference. I arrived first and was welcomed by Thomas who gave me an extensive tour of the apartment/suite and told something about its history. I was immediately impressed by how beautiful and comfortable the apartment is. My colleague arrived on the second day while I was at the conference, luckily Thomas was able to arrange an additional keycard for my colleague which he could extract himself from a keycard dispenser at the property such that the colleague could check-in by himself without me having to be there. We were both very happy about are stay here. The apartment has lots of atmosphere, the beds are very comfortable, it is equipped with all the essentials (including complementary sparkling water, coffee cups for Nespresso machine and tea bags, there was even a roll of paper kitchen towels which I was myself very happy with), and overall the apartment is just very comfortable (it comes with floor heating that can be regulated separately for each room!). The location is also great, being in the middle of the city center, close to the Dom and the Stone Bridge, while also being in a secluded, picturesque street so that you are not bothered by noise. Finally, the service provided was also exceptional. There was even a cleaning in the middle of the week where all the dishes were cleaned, towels refreshed, trash taken out and coffee cups and tea bags refilled. All in all, we had a wonderful stay here in Regensburg and would wholeheartedly recommend the Domresidenz to anyone visiting Regensburg!

Booking.com mention a washing machine as part of the facilities but we couldn’t find one. Would have been handy but we got by without it.

Exceptionally clean, very modern interior inside a beautiful 13th century building. Full of fabulous essentials (even access to Netflix for our daughter!) The owner has done a superb job of creating a stunning apartment. In the heart of the old town we were able to see the cathedral from just outside the apartment building. Fabulous!

While Thomas' directions to the hotel were accurate, it is still confusing, in the car, to initially reach the accommodation. I'm not sure that can be remedied, but please keep that in mind when staying here. Be sure to ask for specific instructions, and have confidence---you'll get there. :) Parking vouchers were not offered on arrival, but daily parking proved to be reasonable nonetheless.

Domresidenz is very conveniently located in the heart of Regensburg. Once you park your car (about a 10-minute walk away) you can easily navigate all this beautiful town's highlights on foot. The accomodations were modern, clean, and extremely well-appointed.

The apartment was excellent and had been renovated to a very high standard with luxurious touches. Our host met us at check in and it was obvious that he had a great deal of pride in the property. It was exceptionally clean, comfortable and the location was outstanding.

I travel a lot with work and i also like to travel with my family, usually i tend to find fault in hotels and apartments but this time I actually i don’t have any complaints. 5 stars

The property had a lot of care put into it. Half of the furniture is historical and it fits so well with the other half which is modern design. Every corner of the property was well thought out and had a lot of character. The owners are very friendly and they offer good recomandations of what to see or where to eat.

This trip to Regensburg was the first trip abroad for my family and a commemorative one. The spacious rooms, luxurious facilities and the warm hospitality of the owner Thomas made our stay the best and most precious. The location is also perfect for sightseeing, restaurants, cafes and shopping. If we have the opportunity to visit Regensburg again, we will definitely choose Domresidenz.

Lovely apartment in excellent location. Thomas was very friendly and helpful by pointing out good restaurants and showing us around the apartment. The apartment is thoroughly updated with a few reminders of its history; an original stone arch and two big steps to the bedroom but with a sturdy handrail so easy to manage. Having access to laundry was also wonderful during our trip. Comfortable bed, nice kitchen, elevator, lovely furniture (some of it gorgeous antiques!) and set in the middle of old town Regensburg made this a stay we were sorry to leave.
