This was our third visit to this property. The apartment is clean and quiet. We love that it is located on a family farm, yet close to the town and within walking distance to a bakery and a great Italian restaurant. We met three generations of their family and saw feeding time for the animals. What a treat for us city-dwellers! I really appreciated that Stefan created a YouTube video that shows (1) the entrance drive to the property, (2) where and how to pick up your room key, and (3) the walk to the apartment building. Very clever solution to what can often be confusing to the first-time visitor.

Fantastic apartment with great facilities and lots of space for our family of 4! Great location near Therme Erding and our host was great, including their dog who was a big bonus for my dog-loving son and a visit to the animals in the barn as well! A great stay and we’re looking to rebook when we can!!

The kitchenette isn't set up for "real" cooking. It has no hob, but does have a toaster oven and refrigerator.

Highly recommended. Love the quiet room and surroundings. This was the second time I stayed here. The farm is a little bit far from shops and cafes, so a car is helpful. Good location for visiting Therme Erding, even on foot.

Sleeping area upstairs is open, so you hear everything, even if some is going to toilette...and you see the light. Sleeping was not very good.

Diminish sounds from outside the room. Didn’t feel as if our the noises/ conversations from our room were confined to our room.

We had to locate a person on the property to ask where do we check in. Our only draw back of the stay: sound echoed from all around. We could hear a person a few doors down sneeze. If someone was in the lobby you heard the conversation as if they were in front of you.

Room was spacious and very clean. There was small kitchen corner to make coffee and eat breakfast. Nice and comfortable bathroom. Would book again cos very reasonable for the money.

The Family Baumgartner needs to improve communication with guests. Several of my Booking messages went unanswered. I requested their WhatsApp number to facilitate messaging, but they did not provide it. Even though I messaged my arrival time through the Booking App, the Reception desk was unattended when I arrived. Information signs in the room were only in German. I would have been lost without Google Translate, because the sign instructed the guest to exit, locate the family's front door, and ring the bell. Mrs. Baumgartner seemed very friendly, but her English was basic at best. She was unable to give me any information about local bus service, so I did not attempt to ask her any further questions about the area. The guest information sheet provided was written in German and was very limited (including the name of several restaurants and a butcher/bakery), but nothing about Therme Erding or directions to arrive there. My biggest issue with the apartment is the sheer curtains. Motion sensor lights turned on during the night, and morning light filled the room. Consequently, I had to wear a sleep mask the entire night.

The location of the apartment is ideal for a visit to Therme Erding. It is also convenient to the Munich International Airport. I was easily able to walk from the S-Bahn train stop (Altenerding) to the apartment. The apartment was a good value for the money. I found the room to be large with a good balcony. The apartment has large, modern windows. The bedding was comfortable and the bathroom was large. I stayed for 2 nights and found just one hand towel and one bath towel. It is unclear to me whether it is possible to request clean towels for a longer stay. I enjoyed the accommodation so much that I plan to return next Spring.
