We truly regret that your stay with us did not meet your expectations and, above all, that you were unable to get the rest you had hoped for. We would like to clarify that you had explicitly chosen to stay in our historic main building — the *Stammhaus* — and not in our modern annex (the former bank), which is equipped with a sustainable ceiling cooling system. The *Stammhaus*, being a listed heritage property, does not have air conditioning, and during very hot days this can indeed lead to warmer room temperatures. We understand how uncomfortable that can be and are continually looking for responsible ways to improve comfort while respecting the building's historic structure. Regarding the noise disturbance you described: We took your report extremely seriously. Our team investigated the matter thoroughly, including multiple checks during the night and day. However, we were unable to detect or reproduce the sounds you mentioned. As there was no identifiable source within the hotel, it is possible that the noise may have come from outside the building or from an external source. We fully understand, however, that your sense of safety and rest was disrupted, and we sincerely regret that we could not resolve the situation during your stay. We always strive to offer all our guests a peaceful and pleasant experience. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we will continue to monitor the situation closely to ensure the well-being of future guests. This is part of the modern concept in our newer building, while our historic main house offers rooms with fully enclosed, traditionally styled bathrooms – for guests who prefer a more classic layout. Regarding your room location: our beautiful half-timbered main building is a listed heritage site, and as clearly stated on all booking platforms – including Booking.com – the upper floors are not accessible by elevator. In light of this, we proactively offered you a complimentary upgrade to our modern building with elevator access, which you accepted. We also offered to carry your luggage for you, but you kindly declined our porter service. We absolutely respect your decisions – but feel it’s important to clarify that both your booking and our support were fully aligned with the transparent descriptions of our hotel. Nos alegra saber que disfrutó tanto de Dinkelsbühl y de la inmejorable ubicación de nuestro hotel. Su amplia habitación con maravillosas vistas y el muy buen desayuno obviamente completaron su estancia. Lamentamos que no haya ascensor en nuestro edificio principal. Lamentablemente, debido a la naturaleza histórica del edificio, no es posible realizar una reforma.
