One of our room and bathroom had windows to the main street, which had very nice sights of the old town. But was quite noisy from late evening to midnight, due to the restaurants just outside and tourists on the street. This disturbed the children to sleep as we had to have the windows open for ventilation, but nothing white noise couldn’t fix.

The building. Has a traditional german look on the outside and a very nice modern look on the inside with clean modern amenities. We had smart tvs in both rooms and our toddler could enjoy the youtube. We had a both a shower and a bath. The hotel has a nice restaurant with very nice local food. My toddler also had an ice cream here. The breakfast was also very good. The location. Very central and in the heart of the old town. Nice and affordable parking options. Our stay was so nice that we wished we had stayed much longer than planned, so we’d enjoy the hotel to the fullest.

The Angelus bells from the nearby cathedral at 6am were a bit of a surprise, but clearly there is nothing the hotel can do about that.

Lovely huge room with a splendid bathroom. We had dinner in the newer building restaurant on the first evening. It was excellent. And a comprehensive and fresh breakfast buffet. The "valet" parking worked fine.

The room was a comfortable size with modern fixtures. The beds were comfortable. Easy parking and tasty, hardy breakfast. Plenty of dogs and you could take them down to breakfast with you. The location was central but not too busy. It was easy to get to everything. My 9-year-old says it had a good TV and it had a cool inside and he liked the breakfast provided. My 12-year-old says there was plenty of space for a family, and it was quiet/soundproof.

No aircon and difficult to get to by car as streets restricted. Directions given were invalid and misleading as everything blocked by a festival. An update for people arriving that weekend would have helped many frustrated guests.

Room lacked air conditioning. And wifi was without capacity.

Fantastisc small village and historic hotel. We stayed in old part, but had breakfast in new. Used brilliant restaurant in old part. Service was overall excellent. The city is a must see!

Everything was wonderful. Therese was wonderful and a pleasure to work with. Breakfast was one of the best we had in all of Germany. Staff was kind and accommodating.

Incredible chance to stay in a historic building dating back centuries and situated within a few yards of the medieval church. The breakfast was excellent, better than average. The lady managing the breakfast was extremely helpful. Everybody anxious to please. Only minus was that the sports center wasn't open, so I took a long walk around the walls through the park and read the signs explaining the Thirty Years War.

It's not what i didn't ike but more a case of what they could do better - If not putting a kettle in the room, supply sufficient coffee capsules and tea bags for two people for night and morning, didn't expect to have to pay extra at a 4 star hotel. Make parking instructions clearer using new hotel as initial parking point rather than just front of hotel when majority photos of hotel is the front of old building, also don't assume everyone knows what a bread button is on parking meters. Ensure all amenities and facilities are correct and accurate in photographs and description, aded extras need to be made clear - champagne/ wine in room, kettle and bathrobes not available. Could you possibly make the beautiful heavy front door quiieter when automatically closing as this woke us up every time someone entered or left overnight or early in the morning.

Old building, room was fantastic, breakfast was varied and plentiful, and the breakfast staff were very helpful. Location was perfect to visit old town. Stayed in honeymoon suite; felt like a comfortable stately home room.

Bit noisy in the morning when the tractor pulled up outside for 10 mins and left the engine running. Not the hotels fault.
