We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomThe toilet bowl had a weird grey stain on it which stayed there despite daily room cleans. The curtain netting on the windows needed a wash. The tub chair on the desk could be more ergonomic as I couldn't sit in it properly without slumping or using force from my feet.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was nice and quiet with a big comfortable bed and a good desk to work on. Good shower and overwall nice bathroom.

HungaryThe hotel needs some serious renovation and cleaning. The furniture in the rooms is old, it's not cozy or tasteful, no decor whatsoever and just doesn't feel welcoming at all. I also encountered faulty USB outlets, safe was not working, the automatic window blinds also not working, but the curtains don't close all the way. (No, I did not tell anyone, because I was on a tight schedule and didn't have any time to supervise repairman in my room. You should check and do that before guests arrive). Hairdryer was quickly overheating and stopped while drying my hair. Wardrobes were smelly, the shower moldy, toilet also dirty - you could see they were cleaned very superficially. When you first take a look you don't notice, but then you get closer and you do. Also there is no mini fridge in the room and no gym facilities. The offer a gym option for free that's 30 mins from the hotel.
It's in a good location, 15 mins walk from the train station. The personnel was really nice and friendly and I liked the breakfast variety.

IrelandI returned to the hotel after a day at work around 6pm. When I got to my room the door was wide open, purposely held open by a wedge. When I went to reception and asked them why my room was left open, they replied "Oh!, maybe cleaning left it open." No apologies or any other conversation. I had to go to my room and check through all my belongings. I found the response to the fact that my room had been left wide open all day absolutely poor. The receptionist didn't seem to care and acted like I was bothering her by even telling her.
