How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Massage was too soft and not very relaxing. We booked the anti stress massage but it lacked the massage needed to really feel the body powering down and release the tension in the body. Wellness was very crowded but facilities excellent. Don’t get me wrong - that is not the hotels fault more due to the size of it. As I said, everyone was forthcoming and nice, breakfast was just perfect, dinner excellent, the room was better than expected and so on.

The Anex rooms are ok, but the style does not pass the hotel at that level. We were not explained how we could go pool and SPA from Anex, which is a problem for such cold weather. Possibly it works somehow, but the explanation given by the trainees was missing. Hence we decided to skip the pool, which was frustrating. If you pay 400 Euros a night, you would expect this topic to be explained at least. The hair dryer n the room was quite basic for the level of the hospital. 2 star restaurant was a reason for pur stay this was a good level however some things also could be improved

Verified reviewAmazing experience. The Suite rooms in the annex/dependence deliver great comfort besides being isolated from the main building (2mns walking max). The place is quiet and offers a nice view over the golf area. And you get extra preparation in the room if you have a dog (dogs are not allowed in the main building). The SPA is speechless. 4 different atmospheres, the infinity outdoor pool and the indoor pool (water could have been a bit warmer inside and in the jacuzzi) are big. I did not try the Gym but I had a look and it was well above standards. The breakfast is a mix of continental breakfast with local specialties. We went to the Övenhütte for the dinner. The place is nice and many local dishes are on the menu. Better to book a table in advance, especially for early dinner. This restaurant is also a 15/20mns walking distance from the hotel.
The water temperature could have been warmer in the indoor pool and jacuzzi

Verified reviewA true 5 star hotel: From the first class (and friendly) check-in to the quality of every fixture and fitting, this is a really impressive hotel. I particularly liked the gym facilities. A huge range of high end equipment, and there was a separate room to use for yoga/ personal exercise (when not used for classes), the pool was lovely with many places to sit or lounge by. The restaurant was beautiful. The food was healthy and inventive, the wine selection impressive. Every member of staff I met was helpful and friendly .

The room booked on booking.com was far below as it looked like in the picture and the price too high for that quality. We had to upgrade the Room for 120 more EUR to get a good one worth the money. The one upgraded, was far better and very comfy. The dinner was not outstanding as expected from this level, but good enough

We were not informed that there is a covered parking for guests. Unfortunately, the dinner did not meet expectations - beautiful, but not tasty. The main disappointment.
