I wanted to share some feedback regarding the pre-arrival process, specifically the detailed form we were asked to complete. While I understand that these measures are likely for security purposes, the form required us to provide a significant amount of personal information, including document numbers, nationalities, names, and surnames, not just for ourselves but also for any visitors to the apartment. The level of detail requested felt intrusive, and the numerous rules surrounding it made the process feel less welcoming. I believe that while security is important, a more balanced approach to data collection could make guests feel more comfortable and at ease during their stay. I hope this feedback is helpful and can be considered for future improvements.

I can't fault anything at the property, the rooms were very spacious so were the bathrooms.

The location of the apartment was very central, it was about 400 meter from Checkpoint Charlie, the apartment was very roomy, it does not have a lift so it is not recommended for persons who have problems walking the stairs if they stay on the 2nd or 3rd floor

It isn't a huge deal because it was in the same building and the apartment was nice, but the apartment we were in was not quite the same as the photos in the listing. There is a neighbor who has posted a passive aggressive note (photo included), and they got upset that we came in one morning with our shoes on and were "too loud" in the staircase. It wasn't a huge deal but did make it harder to feel comfortable in the space (worried about even laughing too loud), but the perks of the apartment outweighed this for us. I do think if you are looking for a place where you can be a little louder, this is not the accommodation for you.

The apartment is beautiful - high ceilings, great location, and the building has a cool history. It was a great place to stay in Berlin and the host was friendly. Several restaurants, bars, and cafes nearby. The apartment itself also left us coffee and we had all the cookware needed to cook a quick breakfast. The balcony is also quite nice when the weather permits. This was a perfect option for my friends and my partner and I because it is large enough for us to all have our own space, while also having a comfortable common area for us to hang out.

No black-out curtains in bedrooms (only very sheer magenta-colored curtains) made it hard to sleep after 5am when the sun came up, no air conditioning and 29 degrees during the day meant it was hard to sleep despite 2 fans available in each bedroom, washer and dryer are coin-operated (only accepts €2 coins) on a timer that does not allow you to use both the washer and the dryer at the same time. On the shortest setting, the washer was €4 a load and the dryer was €6 and clothes still needed to be hung overnight to finish drying. Oh, and you can only use them between 8am-5pm. We were grateful to have the machines in the flat, but it was more expensive and effortful than anticipated. Hanging a few posters around the apartment and a rug or two in the living and bedrooms would make the place feel much more welcoming and finished.

Very clean, beautiful apartment in a gorgeous pre-war building, very good location close to u-Bahn, safe storage for luggage until room was ready and before our flight on day of check-out, plenty of cotton sheets and towels, 3 generously sized bedrooms, plenty of restaurants within 10 minute walk, very helpful host who was available via the booking.com message service and clearly wants guests to enjoy their stay despite the lengthy rules and reportedly cranky neighbor (we didn’t hear from the neighbor during our stay but we were very quiet)

Because I hadn't received any notice about pre-registration, I arrived at the property and couldn't get in. But after I phoned the hosts, they sent me instructions on finding the keys and asked me to fill in the online form after I got into the flat. Once in, I I let the hosts know I was having problems filling in the form electronically. There followed some confusion about which forms I was to fill, and a misunderstanding about scheduling the use of the washing machine. But a manager did phone to reassure me that I had in fact filled in the right form, so all was well.

Just want to point out that the booking.com pictures show an apartment with a wood panelled ceiling and lovely balustrade staircase. Expectations were not met as this wasn’t the apartment we were given. We maintained the rules around noise level however we had a neighbour downstairs visit us and complain in an unpleasant manner about the noise.

The apartment was lovely, spacious well equipped and in a great location.

Location was convenient but did not reflect the atmosphere I expected from Kreuzberg. The building is beautiful and impressive on the outside but the apartment has no character whatsoever. There is not one picture on the walls which needs painting. The listing includes a washing machine but once there, we found we had to pay to use it. City taxes were charged even though this was included in the rental. The host only noticed this on day 3 and reimbursed us.

The space was exceptional and the kitchen well equipped. The host eventually on day 3 became responsive and accommodating

The laundry costs 2 Euro per 20 minutes and accept 2 Euro coin only. We have to collect many 2 Euro coins for a laundry process, 1 hours and 16 minutes which requires 4 2-Euro coins. Which is really expensive. Moreover, the laundry machine is allowed to be used only during 8 am to 5 pm. Which affects our trip schedule quite a lot.

It’s a large and comfortable apartment. The location is between two U-Bahn station, which is really convenient.
