Fantastic location near the Marktplatz. Easy walking distance to all the sights of the old town, to a number of weinguts, and to the vines. Great location for easy chilling with a bottle of Riesling or for a more active walk or cycle along the Mosel. Great breakfast and attentive staff.

The only comment I have is that the bathroom lacked storage and hooks to hang towels and other item on.

Great parking at a hotel with really good location. Great breakfast with really nice staff. Parking in the basement was really good! We hade a room with balconies facing the Mosel river which was great place to spend lazy afternoons on with a glass of Reisling.

On site resturant was ‘ a taste of the East’ was ok but not stand out Although the room beds and bedding were all top notch, the main road in front is noisy even early and late.

Room service would have been nice as there wasn't a lot of dinner options for us around New Years Eve. You can order restaurant delivery but again, not a lot of options. Not sure if it was the holiday or there aren't a ton of places delivering nearby.

I traveled as a single mother for NYE with my 5 yr old daughter and our dog. The location was absolutely stunning, the main town center is only a 3-5min walk from the hotel and is so cute! This was my first adventure traveling solo with my daughter and dog, I was nervous to say the least, but this part of our trip was so easy, fun and I felt safe the entire time. Breakfast was wonderful. My 5 year old loved it too. Although I did see a lot of dog parents, the reception area and the hotel grounds were flawlessly clean. They even had soft towels to wipe paws with before coming back in. Highly recommend this hotel and I really want to go back in Spring or Summer!

We thought that the on site parking charges were very high and used the public carpark option. I Do not understand why the towels provided for the rooms are so small when excellent ones are provided for the sauna. Small criticisms are the controls for the shower in the room should be on the wall where you step into the shower, the shower tray should have a non slip surface and the shower water. should not spray out into the standing area in front of the sink - these are all safety concerns for anyone with mobility problems such as my wife has . There should also be a sink in the toilet for hand washing. This is basic hygiene. The sauna is a very nice area but totally unsuitable for anyone with even slight mobility problems as it can't be reached without using steep stairs. Also there is no provision for undressing or a locker to place valuables such as glasses, watches, hearing aids etc. None of my criticism would prevent a return visit

Very good breakfast with excellent choices. Choice of food in Dian restaurant was very good as we fortunately enjoy oriental cuisine. However some of the dishes were often served a little on the cold side.

Modern, very nice spacious rooms with included minibar! The staff is super friendly and helpful and make you feel welcome with a welcome drink upon arrival. Breakfast offers a good variety and is great start into a lovely day. This was my 3rd time staying there and I had always the same great experience. Will definitely return again.

The location is perfect in Berncastel with the small village just 'around the corner'. There is garage in the basement. We were upgraded to an even better room which had a perfect view over the Mosel. The hotel had a good restaurant for dinner.

On arrival we were welcomed by Thomas, who was so friendly and welcoming and were able to upgrade our room to a river view with balconies.We received a welcome drink ( local wines which were amazing) The room was fabulous and breakfast which we had out on the terrace was delicious . My husband left his I pad behind which Thomas was able to organise to get it sent home

The knowledge of the front desk staff about local restaurants and excursions was not up to the standards that we expected based on all of the other wonderful aspects of the hotel, at least the person who was there each time we needed help. We ended up finding our own restaurants in the end, as the reservation was not made for us even though it was promised. The individual also had no knowledge of the wines or other alcohols (brandies, schnapps) that were served in your front area. It would be helpful to have that knowledge. The Wine Tour / Tasting was done only in German with little to no effort to explain in English. 4 of the 9 people in attendance were non-English speaking.

The location was fairy-tale, outstanding! Had a view of 3 out of 4 directions from our junior suite. Also, the breakfast was wonderful. We would recommend your hotel to anyone and plan to come and stay again. The 7th floor is awesome!
