The breakfast room was quite busy, it was a bit hard to find a space to sit down inside (it was raining outside, so guests did not use the outside breakfast area).

Beautiful grounds and gardens, very pat-friendly place - they even provide a placemat, bowls and welcome treats for the dogs. Nice breakfast.

We stayed one night at Das Stein in Amerang as a stopover with the family, and it couldn’t have been better. The warm Bavarian hospitality made a lasting impression – from the genuinely friendly staff to the delicious, traditional food. Even for a short stay, it felt cozy and welcoming. A great bonus: the hotel is just a short walk from the EFA Mobile Zeiten museum, which is a must-visit for car enthusiasts. A perfect mix of comfort, charm, and convenience. Highly recommended, even for a quick stop!

Our stay was too short...this trip!

Extremely friendly staff from the moment we arrived until our departure. Spacious rooms with an extra large bed. Very clean!! There was a separate room for our daughter so she could watch her television programs. The breakfast buffet was well laid out with fresh fruits, meats, a variety of breads/rolls, cheeses and cereals. Hot scrambled eggs and breakfast sausage were also available. Highly recommended for the whole family! We will be returning on our next visit! See you there!

Very professionally run hotel. Excellent breakfast with a huge range of options. The receptionist was very helpful in booking us into dinner at a nearby beer garden. Would certainly recommend Das Stein.

Excellent place to stay. In traditional building which is beautiful and in a lovely setting, however everything inside is super modern and a lovely common area around a fire place . the breakfast is exceptionally good, and staff were lovely. We booked a triple but got a bonus small alcove room off to the side of the bathroom which gave more space. Parking super easy and spacious. Great restaurant across the street. Best breakfast ever !!!

We can only write positive about Das Stein. This is one of the best experience we ever had in any hotels. The nice and helpful attitude of Joseph and the full team is extraordinary. This is a small oasis/garden in a charming Bavarian town. Breakfast is amazing with lots of extra choices and tasteful dishes. Rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable. Free car parking available. If you have chance go for a short walk at night in the town and enjoy the peace. We will definitely return again.
