The girl (student) at the reception was like an automaton, didn’t really care about our child’s special needs nether tried help us solve the issue with the parking place. It was very cold and passive approach. Having on mind that the price is not a basic one, we expected a better treatment in this cute boutique hotel. Some deatils can also be improved regarding storage of unnecessary items around the hotel. And also warmer atmosphere in the hotel after 18h since the is no one at the reception in the evening, which doesn’t feel too good.

What can you dislike about this hotel….. nothing. A return visitor by car from the UK to the wonderful Regensburg and the oasis of this hotel….. especially in over 30 degree heat. Location is perfect…. Only minutes from everywhere you want to visit. The hotel itself is quite new, modern and the large rooms have air con and nice bathrooms with real showers. Brekkie is good and the car park is next door, clean and safe. What is best about the Das Regensburg Hotel are the staff and in particular the lady Manager. Nothing is too much trouble to her and her staff who all speak English. We had a problem with our car and had to extend our stay and nothing was a problem. I could go on and on, but if you are in Regensburg……. Don’t delay…. Stay here….. you wont be disappointed.

Good location, fairly easy walk from the station. Comfortable and good sized room, person on reception was very welcoming when we arrived. Easy walk into the historic part of town. The medieval stained glass windows in the cathedral are just stunning, an absolute must do.

The only things we didn’t like at first were the dusty floor and the pillows, which were too soft for our preference.

The place is conveniently located in the city center, making it easy to walk to nearby attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and well-maintained.

Complicated to arrive after 20:00, not difficult but not great, no bottled water in the rooms, just a fill it yourself jar in favour of the environment. Also the big rooms seem to be under the roof
