United KingdomExtremely minor issue - but it can be a bit tricky to navigate through the multiple heavy key locked doors if your hands are full.
Rooms were generally clean and well designed, very convenient to access in and out at all times. Bathroom included a bath towel and hand towels, and some soap/shower creams. Useful amount of power sockets in the room, including right by the bed Breakfast was approx 12€ and included a self-serve area of bread, ham, cheese, jams and drinks - generally nice quality, though note it’s quite early if you’re the type to sleep in late. Staff were respectful and helpful with good English. Check in and check out was easy. Included public transport ticket was really useful - I used it to travel all over the nearby area and other towns/cities.

CVJM Hotel has two big strengths: its location and the staff. The hotel is right next to Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof, which makes getting around super easy. The staff were some of the kindest and most helpful I’ve met in a long time—really made me feel welcome. A great bonus was receiving a train pass that covered not just Düsseldorf, but also nearby cities—I even used it to visit Wuppertal. Great value and warm service!
