My name is Chris, and I recently stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Wiesbaden-Nordenstadt. I’d like to express my disappointment with the service experience at the hotel’s bar, which I found to be well below the standard I expect from the Marriott brand. When I approached the bar, the barman told me to place my order there and take it to my table myself. There was no offer of service, no clear explanation that this was the hotel’s policy, and frankly, no sense of hospitality. The staff seemed indifferent and uninterested in creating a welcoming atmosphere. I understand that Courtyard hotels may offer a more casual service model than full-service Marriott properties, but even so, basic courtesy and clear communication should still apply. There was no signage or prior indication that this would be a self-service experience — it simply felt like being dismissed. As someone who chooses Marriott for its reputation in service and comfort, I found this encounter disappointing and not in line with the brand values I associate with Marriott. I would appreciate clarification on whether this is standard practice at this property, and if so, why it isn’t clearly communicated to guests. Kind regards, Chris

It was a little tricky to enter the parking lot because you can’t really see the entrance unless you are right up on it at night. During the day was fine but since I am not familiar with the area I missed it a couple of times.

The location is great. There’s lots of parking, the facility seemed safe I love that you cannot access any of the floors without a key card. Definitely has the best breakfast with options for vegetarians and vegans.

Price wasn't cheap, I'd expected a sauna for that price level but not available. I had to give a few shirts for laundry but 10 EUR per piece is quite hefty, quality was good though. Restaurant could have more choices.

The gym is small but good. A dumbbell rack, bench, pull up bar, two treadmills. Good enough to do a workout. Gym has windows and good ventilation. Lots of car parks and they are free, big bonus. Restaurant food was good but had limited choice. Same few dishes every day. Draught beer was good. Nearby is a big supermarket as well.

Great hotel on the outskirts of Wiesbaden. Stayed for the second time; this time for just one night. The hotel is good in all respects - location, quality of food, staff, service, room size, etc.

I understand the hotel wanting to keep things quiet, however they have the TV volume limited to "14" which makes hearing some programs difficult especially when the AC is running. Also, the TV entertainment could have been better.

The facility was well kept. The staff was very helpful and did their best to accommodate our needs. The air conditioner was cold which was awesome.

beds are getting a bit worn out. 1 single large mattress for a double bed is not super convenient when I person turns the other one notices it. Moreover mattress is getting old so not very comfortable.

good location whilst on the way to the south. Tesla supercharger 4 stalls right aside the hotel. Excellent dinner, we had the salmon with risotto which was really well prepared. Breakfast sufficiently complete. Could do with some fresh juices and nuts. Airco works well.

Toiletries could have been better e.g. shower cap. The pillows were very soft. A bottle of water was left in the room but there was no message as to whether this was complimentary or not.

The location worked well for us as we wanted to be close to the Frankfurt airport. There were service stations and a few restaurants within walking distance. The car park on the premises was good. WiFi worked well. Good information given on check-in. The breakfast buffet was set out and offered good choice.

When we pulled up out the front, we didn't receive any support with our luggage or suggestions as to what would be easiest. We parked a little way around the back and had to walk our luggage back around to the front, this was the only entrance. We would have enjoyed being able to open a window.

The room was spacious, with a large bed and comfortable linen. The shower was wonderful and it was clean and tidy.

The modern bathroom design with the sliding glass partition is okay for couples but not for friends traveling together. This hotel is very convenient for people traveling by car. There are no tourist attractions in this suburban neighborhood.

Breakfast was good, especially the quality of the Brötchen. All the staff was well mannered and efficient. Hotel felt clean and safe.

If we had been visiting Wiesbaden, its location some way outside the city and in a fairly industrial area would not have made it a convenient choice. For our purposes, though, as an overnight stop before a 4-hour drive home, it was just what we needed.

The Tesla supercharger stations in its rear car park allowed us to charge our car while we had breakfast. It was very convenient that I could pick up my wife from Frankfurt airport after her long haul flight and we could be at the hotel within 15 minutes. The hotel is also very comfortable, with a nice restaurant and diverse breakfast buffet.
