How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Lighting in the room was a little dark. Would have loved a bit more lighting. Location is great but there are a fair few unsavoury characters around because of location as well. If you aren't coming back alone late at night, it is safe enough.
Location was central next to the train station. Easy to get to main tourist areas even by walking it is only about 20 mins. Room was ready when I arrived which was great. Staff were helpful in answering queries. Staff forgot to clean my room one day but they immediately rectified it when I informed them about it.

Probably because we were at floor ground, the room was rather dark and it smelled not too good.
The hotel is very very quiet and the staff is very smiley and friendly!

There was only 1 light switch for entire studio would be nice to have seperate switch for bathrooms etc

The shower had glass walls with only a curtain between it and the rest of the room, which is not comfortable if you travel with friends

The curtain to split the room and the bathroom space, there's not a real door so a bit less intimate. The noise at night from the busy street.

Construction was right outside our bedroom window and the balcony was smaller than what appeared in the photos.
Great location, close to the train station. Staff were very friendly and the lobby was pretty cool. The decorations were themed as if you’re in a jungle or treehouse. Breakfast wasn’t anything special but had enough variety. Our room was comfortable for our two night stay.

Construction blocking our balcony and felt although the location was in a bit of a rough area, wouldn’t want to head back too late at night.

The staff is extra nice and the room was cozy also there is ac but the location for a solo female traveler is a no! I had to get the train to the airport very early in the morning and I felt in danger till I got to the station!! Hauptbahnhof = not a good area.

If I had to be picky, I would complain that there is a giant construction-looking staircase right outside the window (maybe it’s temporary), but seriously, are you choosing a hotel near the train station for the views? You just want to sleep next to the train station while exploring the beautiful city.
What a cute hotel! I love the theme and that the rooms feel welcoming, rather than just being a bed in a box. In addition, the staff are friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

No extra miles for the customer. That’s not that kind of hotel. Location isn’t great although close enough to the main points of interest (on foot). This is an ok but low(er) cost facility when it comes to the Munich area. Would have been nice to have a small fridge in the room.

Room size and external noise . In the night street walkers talk loudly but I had no safety issues at all. Just noisy :)
Excellent location, walking distance from Munich Hbf ! Super tiny room but clean and helpful staff. Simple nothing fancy totally worked for me.
