Light comes through a lot as the curtains are thin and don’t blackout. Not a fan of attic rooms in general. And the pillows are just uncomfortable but very common.

The location is great. And the owner was kind enough to let me check in early and the room was clean. It has all the basics you’d want for a day’s stay.

Good location. If you travel by car there is a garage in the Hotel, highly recommended. Breakfast was good , and the hotel staff were helpful. Great value for money.

Only the internet speed was insuficient for meetings and video calls, although the signal was good in any part of the hotel.

The breakfast was limited in selection, but having said that the food offered was generally tasty. I'd say this is a business worker hotel, not a holiday hotel, but I stayed 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. A kettle was provided in the room, but no tea bags, instant coffee or hot chocolate sachets. No fridge in the room, but kept milk cold on the window ledge in November.

The hotel was clean and functional. It was managed by one person, very efficiently. She was friendly and spoke English. The location was superb, right next to the railway station (no noise in the rooms or hotel though) and approximately 150 metres from the bus station. The bus to Nuremberg Airport was 5 minutes away. I'd recommend using this hotel as it is functional for sightseeing in the area. The train to Nuremberg was easy to get and the day ticket covered the bus and train for the whole day..

Wifi reception in the room was occasionally poor. Also had to relog in to the wifi every time to connect.

Parking was not available on site. Had to use the parking behind the train station & I probably got a couple tickets because I didn't understand the parking meter system.

Location was great for going to the oldest beer festival in Germany. I felt fortunate to get a room last minute and would stay there again. Breakfast was the typical German style buffet.

Hotel has no elevators. With heavy suitcases it becomes a challenge. Besides this one thing there was no reason for complaints. There was a kettle for boiling water but no tea bags were provided.

Location. Next to the train station. One could reach the farthest platform 4 within 3 minutes. While platform 1 can be reached in 1 minute. Room was quite big and comfortable. Breakfast was ample with everything in abundance. The owner was super efficient in managing the hotel. An excellent superstore was next door where one could get everything to eat. There were all kinds of shops round the corner. All in all a very convenient location.

I would just welcome some real teacups in the rooms, and shampoo. The descriptions on the web don't completely characterise everything - 1 fridge for all and iron and ironing board only on the 2nd floor.
