The hotel could have done with a steam room. It is also a little way from the town centre. The soap dispensers in the room were awkward to use.

We liked the restaurant, sauna and facilities in general.

Room was noisy, could easy hear my neighbors using the shower and people on the hallways. I found the mat under the sheet very uncomfortable.

Nice typical German hotel. Spa facilities were great! Different sauna’s and a nice swimming pool. Restaurant offers great diner opportunities.

On check-in, we were told that we had booked a comfort room, while on Booking we had booked a king room (higher category). Hotel said that they don’t have ‘king’ category. Clearly miscommunication between hotel and Booking, as a result of which we still don’t know whether we got the room we paid for. The room had no airconditioning, and the heat made sleeping very uncomfortable. Breakfast was average. For a “Four Star Superior” hotel, the lack of A/C and average breakfast led to a lower rating than otherwise.

The room was spacious and well maintained. The decor, had an old-fashioned elegance to it.

We loved our superior room with air conditioning, and it was definitely worth the extra money. You always receive great service at this large family run hotel. Their standards are very high, and all of the staff are very polite and are very well presented. They also provided safe undercover parking for our ebikes. The on-site swimming pool is a pleasant bonus.

The hotel was clean, tidy and quiet which is exactly what we wanted. Located in an area which makes travel into Celle very easy and further afield if required. The swimming pool and sauna are fantastic.

Our dinner was awful. I ordered Lamb. I don't know how it was prepared but it tasted of nothing. The gravy ? bad and the potatoes, Croutons from a freezing bag ? something you get in a Burger bar or something like that. The rest of the vegetables was ok the beans with bacon was ok My wife and son ordered the 2 different types of fish on the menu. A Cod and a ? don't remember the type. The fishes was dry and stiff, the vegetables not really good. We talked to one of your waiters, he has been working at your restaurant for 24 years. If wants to attract people from denmark you will need to change the way you perform your cooking You should try to look up for other way to perform your menu - raise your standard and people will come running we would like to come back but do not want to eat at your place

The facilities was very good and the staff was great It was very easy come around in the hotel, even with a wheelchair. there was a chute, that was a little to steep, but my family helped me. 👍😁
