Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The best view you can have probably! If you like old buildings with history and cozy flair, you will love it here!

TurkeyIt has been my worst experience ever with a place that I booked through this platform. It was a huge problem to check-in and check-out and to communicate properly with the hosts for a peaceful and comfortable stay. The owners, besides being very rude and definitely not helpful, are not sincere either. Although I informed them about my late check-in since I was coming from far away and with many changes in delayed trains, they didn't wait for check-in saying that they left the place - yet they leave at the same building on the ground floor. They neither left the keys somewhere with a note for check-in, let's say if they did really have to leave for a reason. I called them on the way and nobody replied. I arrived hoping that I could check-in, yet had to return to Konstanz and find a new place around 9.40 pm. The location is not the easiest to make a return to the town at that hour, I had to pay for two taxis and for the extra accommodation on my arrival night. It was almost the same problem during the check-out. This time I was locked inside the garden since the gate was locked, again. Nobody was around, I had to call and wait for one of the owners to come and open the gate. When you talk about these real problems of check-in and check-out, the owners behave as if they don't understand you whereas they could perfectly communicate in English for other things - such as forcing you to buy the last remaining chicken next to potato salad when you ask for only the potato salad, while saying that the kitchen is closed. So how could you serve chicken with potato salad but not only the salad when the kitchen is closed? It's just a sign of bad intention or at least bad hospitality, in my opinion. I really don't understand why they do host people, they don't like hosting guests as I experienced. The lady literally told told me that they're not a hotel, so they can't wait for check-in.
The location is very nice, staying in the forest over the lake is an experience. Yet this comes with a price, it's not easy to access walking with a trolley, so better be prepared and go with backpacks.

GermanyUbicación de Muy difícil acceso , Muy alejado de la ciudad. No se ofrece desayuno. Atención y servicio inadecuado. No se puede ingresar sino solamente entre las 3 y 6 pm. It is very very far away from the city and you have to walk around or more than 30 minutes in order to arrive, it is in the middle of nowhere. Breakfast is not even offered. You can only enter between 3 to 6 pm. Service and personal was very rude. Overall a very bad experience , we had to stay the night because there was not refund.
Unfortunately nothing . It was a very bad experience.
